insomnia ( post covid/ long covid insomnia)

Hello guys,
I want to share the information about my health issue , and hopefully there will be good advises how to fix it.
I am 55 y.o. overall healthy man without history of acute illness or any chronic conditions. My sleep patterns before the issue were great, - I could easily fall asleep at home, friends parties, hotels, cinema , or even in dentist chair.
After pretty mild Covid illness on December 2020, I developed very tough insomnia, which is lasting already 18 months. First 6 months were just crazy, I could be without sleep 3-4 days in a row, thereafter I had few hours of sleep , and than another phase of the endless torture. No pills worked on me, nor natural supplements, nor meditation, etc. The thing is , - I didn't have any thoughts or fears or any stress or grief that disturbed me to fall asleep. I was very sleepy and relaxed, but couldn't knock out for some reason. It was very weird feeling,- like the mechanism of knocking out was completely damaged. Or sometimes ,when I was lucky to fall asleep ,- in 1.5-2 hours of sleep I was waked up and never fall asleep again that night. No nap was possible for me during daytime,- even after several nights without sleep.
As a result of such a sleep deprivation few weeks after it started ,I developed heavy depression, brain fog, dizziness, significant weight loss . All my physical and clinical tests overall systems and organs of my body were within normal limits. Best university clinics sleep specialists gave up. On May 2021 I started homeopathy treatment, under supervision of expireansed homeopaths. The treatment was lasting until August last year. I gradually changed homeopathic remedies in the following order, trying to find more effective one, all of them potency was 200c. I took the following remedies which chronologically were - Phosphorus, Cocculus, Nux Vomica, Staphisagria, Lac Equinum. My condition was improved a lot during 4 months of homeopathic management. I returned to sport activities and restored my social life in full. Depression fortunately gone. I started to fall asleep more frequently, in spite of the quality of the sleep was bad. My sleep was very superficial, with multiple interruptions during a night, I was very tired on morning, and felt "smashed" all day long. I had dizziness like a sea sickness permanent feeling most of the days . I almost never had my original sleep quality since long covid insomnia terribly changed my life. The situation for today, after 17 months of the start of the torture,- is the following: I can sleep most of nights during week or even longer period, that alternates with a failure, when I almost don't sleep few nights again. Also, my sleep pattern today is very weird- I almost never feel that I slept, it's like a comatose kind of sleeping. Sometimes I have vivid dreams. I monitor my sleep pattern every night with smart watch Charge4. Almost no freshy feeling on mornings, and still very low energy during a day. However, as I had a lot of improvements with homeopathy year ago ,- I decided to return to the treatment, which I believe is the one to return my original sleep , which I had before that disease destroyed it 1.5 years ago. So, it's a case study definitely, among all guys I knew with long covid sleep problems none of them developed such a malicious insomnia. I would be more than happy to hear any smart recommendations, advices, protocols, etc,- for homeopathic remedies fitting my present condition. This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Firstly stop monitoring your sleep
As subconsciously you are keeping a part of your brain awake

Do you wake during the sleep if so time and the reason when the sleep breaks or you just wake up like after full sleep and go back to sleep
Do you have recurring dreams if so what is that
Do you tend to manipulate your dreams
Fix a time to go to bed and stick to it
No solids to be eaten 90-120 minutes before sleeping
Empty ur bladder before going to bed
Keep the watch and cellphone away so that in case you wake up you do not look at the time

Do you get sleepy or no if yes you shud sleep immediately
If you do not get sleepy explain what keeps you awake

Thuja Mother Timcture 08 drops empty stomach ( wake up rinse mouth thoroughly and take Thuja, no brushing teeth or anything orally for next 20 minutes) for a week
Nothing sour no coffee while taking Thuja

thank you so much for your fast reply.
As to sleep hygiene ,- I follow all the rules of it since the problem started , including bed time, meals intake, no blue light requirements. And I don't monitor my sleep during night time, only checking the analysis of sleep on morning.
I ordered Thuja MT , hopefully it will arrive very shortly.
I will keep you posted post tx situation.
