My 01 year old son had developed fever along with cough&vomitting 10 days back. Since fever was not coming doctor had ordered blood test.In Blood test around 07 days back, his CRP was 48. Malaria,Dengue & Culture reports were negative. HB was 9.8, plateles were slightly elevated outside range.
Doctor had given him
1. Taxim Syrup 05 days
2. Allegra 05 days
3. Crocin SOS
4. Ondem Syp for 05 days.
His above course completed 02 days back.
He has not got fever from last 05 days. However, his cough, cold, vomitting is not reducing. Doctor has advised him Allegra further for 05 days.
His present symptoms:
1. Running nose
2. Cough specially during early morning after sleeping. Whenever he is taking breast milk feed, due to cough he vomits all. We could see stickier like thing in vomitt.
3. He gets very hungry. But as soon as we give anything to him, he starts coughing and sometimes vomit too.
4. Difficulty in swaoling water. Not liking it. Hardly drinking water.
5. Lying on stomach is giving him releif. Coughing reduces in this position.
He is physically active. But coughing is irritaing him. We are giving him steam too, but not much improvement.
Kindly advise.
