9 year old kid having frequent Migraines

Hi all,
My son is 9 years old and he has been getting Migraines since he was 4 yrs old. (He is otherwise completely healthy)
Earlier the frequency was ~ones in a month then it increased to twice, thrice in a month.
In the last year it has been fluctuating a lot, some time he gets it every week or even twice in a week.

The usual triggers I notice so far are
1. Hot weather
2. Exertion/tiredness
3. long screen times
4. Always gets one during or after cinema
5. Even a lot of noise could be a trigger
6. dehydration or skipping meal
Sometimes it feels like there is no evident trigger at all.

As per the doctors, we have been managing it by giving him paracetamol and Brufen SoS

Symptoms are, he would feel tired and get pulsating headache on either side of temples and eye. Sometimes at the back of the head as well. If medicine is given with in 30-40 mins of trigger it mostly gets contained by sleeping afterwards.
But if med is not given within early trigger, then he starts vomiting which could keep going for hours.

MRI and X-ray does not show any abnormalities, however I get Migraines(very similar in nature) and have a hereditary of Migraine on my maternal side as well. For me it started to get worse only from the age 17-18 onwards and is now very manageable.

Please suggest a medicine which can help him recover from it.

Thanks a lot Dr Anuj for analyzing and responding with meds.
I live in Sydney and would find a store which sells these medicines.
I'll update you 4 days after I start my son on these.

Thanks Doctor for suggesting this website.
I have ordered the meds and should be arriving in few days.
I have ordered the liquid bottle of Nux Vomica 30c.
What should be the dosage for liquid drops.

Thanks Dr Anuj for the reply. I had started my son on the medication on 15/02/23 and here are the updates so far.

1. Day1: He had an upset stomach after two dosage(probably due to silicea) as I had a similar experience when I started on it a few years back and then he had Migraine, I tried giving him Nux vomica 30 at 10 mins intervals for 3 times but it didn't help with the headache so I had to give him Neurofen (Ibuprofen).
2. Day2 was good but I stopped silicea as he was struggling at school with stomach and after stopping silicea, loose motions stopped.
3. Day3- it was a very hot day and he had cricket match which again caused him headache by the evening. I tried Nux again at 10 min interval for 3 times but it didn't help so had to give him Neurofen.
4. Good day nothing happened.

Overall what I noticed was that Nux helped with controlling the Vomit for sure but so far hasn't been very effective in containing the headache. For now I have stopped Silicea but will start again from tomorrow to see the results.

Nux Vom to be given three times a day now onwards.

Have you given Ferrum Phos?

Give a feedback tomorrow after giving silicea.
