Psychosomatic, Period pain

Dear all, For the last 4years have visited multiple doctors and specialists and had taken so many ultrasound imaging of my wife's abdomen and pelvic area. They were able to find only functional cysts and ask us to come back after 3months or so. It wouldn't be there. However she is suffering with so much abdominal pain a week before the period and lasts till end of the period and again around ovulating day. Overall she was able to work and feel better only for a week (after ovulating to 21days of the cycle). Every 3 out 4 weeks she was feeling pain. Based on the recent visit to a urgent care we have been told that she may have psychosomatic pain and also want us to check for probable endometriosis.
