persistent cough and upper portion sinus congestion
hello drmy husband has peraistent cough from many days
it is loud barking sound from deep,
his had headache, sometimes he feel very cold and shivering but don’t have any fever, he is sweating on forehead
and body is cold
He feels all upper portion congested, nose throat , head seems congested
he has cough from few days which continue after flu but after eating icecream and cold drink and very cold AC over his head in office his congestion increase and cough become like this.

Is it dry barking cough and there is no expectoration or with mucus? if mucus is there then is it difficult expectorate?

Is there soreness behind the sternum, and much tough mucus in the larynx which cannot be hawked up?
is there any mucus?
