Stunted growth in a 26 months old toddler
Hello,I dont understand what happened but I cannot find any traces of my initial post, thats really a pity!
I had good advices on this forum, especially by Dr anuj srivastava and I wanted to update you.
My son has always been difficult when it comes to what hes accepting to eat. I really noticed that it has a lot to do with appetite in his case, sometimes he eats well but mostly not enough. the doctors are not concerned but he is definitely in the lower percentile range.
He used to have eczema that completely disappeared after a few doses of rhus tox 6x, Baryta carbonica also helped him a lot but I feel like it doesnt so much anymore.
Lately, he had a cold with a lot of mucus and when I gave him Kalium bichromicum, I was very surprised to see how much it improved his appetite, he never ate so much. So I gave kalium bichromicum 3 times in 6x but he started to have flatulences which smelled bad, so I increased the potency to 9c but suddenly he had no more appetite again. So I dont really know what to do at this point. I was thinking about Kalium carbonicum but I am not sure.
He is quite short and thin, his sleep is quite agitated: moving and crying in his sleep. he gets easily upset and when tired he can get very angry. he has difficulties with speech, instead of saying the words, he is often miming them with gestures. He understands very well everything we talk about and he is very active, he loves doing things by himself. He also loves being outside. he likes eating sweet things like chocolate and everything spicy or acid like pickles.

Thank you for your answer! I just forgot to mention something quite important. Whenever he has a cold he tends to have red pimples on his face (cheeks) and now, after the cold he had, he has a few pimples on the legs which have a bit of liquid inside. They start to be itchy and strangely they seem to be at the places where he used to have his eczema.

Thank you so much Anuj Srivastava! Calcarea phosphorica seems to really be the remedy that my son needed. Since I give it to him, his appetite is better, he used to have days where he barely ate and now its not the case anymore, hes eating more regularly. His sleep also improved the first times I gave him the remedy but the last 2 nights were a bit less good. So I am wondering if it would be a good idea to try giving him calcarea phosphorica in 9c or 15c?

So I gave Cina in 9C and it seems like he has a better sleep since then, I also continued with calcarea phosphorica but it seems like his appetite is bad again! He doesnt eat much at all! The last 2 days his under eyes is a bit red and he is generally not in a good mood, getting easily upset, being a bit provocative. I also have to mention that I weaned him 5 days ago. Calcarea phosphorica has been really good until the last 2 days, it really helped him with his height and appetite. The last few days he also had a cold with a cough where he wanted to almost volit everytime he was coughing. Maybe his lack of appetite is connected to him having been sick.

Give Bryonia 30 and Nat Mur 6x three times a day for the cold.

So I realized that one of his tooth just appeared, so I guess it was somehow painful for him. I still see the following difficulties with my son:
-lack of appetite: the other day he wanted to throw up just by looking at some food he didnt like.
- speech: pronounciation is a bit difficult, but mainly he doesnt dare trying in front of us. He is aware he cant pronounce words so well, and he is lacking self confidence.
- he has an itchy scalp with still some craddle cap, he also has his ears and a bit of his face itching. He also often rubs his nose. His faces skin is quite dry.
- his sleep is disturbed, he is calling me a lot in his sleep, he needs to be reasured, maybe he is having nightmarres.
Thank you for your help.

CALC CARB 30.
Dose TWO (2) drops/pellets , taken at the same time 3 Times daily.
Take the remedies until symptoms are improved.
Keep all doses 30 minutes before or after food, drink and teeth brushing.
IN ADDITION SILICEA 6X AND CALC PHOS 6X FIVE TABS OF EACH THREE TIMES A DAY FROM DAY 1.
FEEDBACK AFTER 7 DAYS.
Dose TWO (2) drops/pellets , taken at the same time 3 Times daily.
Take the remedies until symptoms are improved.

YOU WILL HAVE TO CONTINUE REMEDIES FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS.TWO DOSES NOT ENOUGH.CONTINUE WITH 9C THREE TIMES A DAY AND GIVE A FEEDBACK AFTER 4 DAYS.

Thank you for your advice. So I gave my son Sulfur 9C more regularly and it really helped a lot with his appetite, which was his main problem.
So I am really happy about that. But the problem we have now is that, although Sulfur is helping him really well when it comes to eating, I noticed that his sleep has been getting much worse, he is waking up several times, usually after midnight. He is also getting much more upset during the day. So its really frustrating because with Sulfur we were starting to solve the food problem, and so he started growing up more and putting on a bit of weight but the night are just too difficult.
So I am really happy about that. its quite painful form him, so I give him regularly Chamomilla 7ch, but I am not sure its the best remedy for him because he sometimes gets very angry, crying a lot, plus there are blue bumps on the gum where the teeth are trying to come out.
So at least I am now sure that sulphur is generally a very good remedy for him, and as soon as his last teeth will come out I will start again with sulfur.
But in the meantime, do you have any recommendation for the teeth? He also has some flatulences.

So I gave my son the remedies you suggested and it helped him, thank you so much! The two teeth came out but now I think the 2 bottom ones are slowly coming out. But at the moment his behaviour is very difficult, he is never happy and just very easily upset or crying. Its like he doesnt know what he wants. He asks for something and then throws it away. He refuses to sleep at night, he sometimes wakes up and say that he doesnt want to sleep, he switches the light on and sometimes he wakes up screaming very loud. I dont know if he is having bad dreams, but his sleep is very disturbed. Sometimes it also feels like he has reflux and maybe its causing him pain. I just gave him some paracetamol(pain killer) and he is better, so I think its really coming from the teeth causing pain. Is there something I can give him to help? Should I give another dose of Calcarea Carbonica?

Lately what helped my son the most is Calcarea phosphorica. He eats better, speaks a lot and he is generally very well. But the last few days he is again in a state where he is unwell, he has his last 2 bottom teeth coming out, they probably bother him but also he has some old symptoms that are reappearing and that he didnt have since a long time:
-waking up in the morning with some kind of conjonctiva on the left eye, the eyes and the eyelashes are sticky with some green pus
- he has cold hands and cold feet, very difficult to warm up
- he has lost appetite again
- his skin is a bit itchy again
- he is sometimes complaining about having belly pain.
- he prefers staying home than leaving the house the last few
days
- I feel like again he stopped growing up, he is still short
for his age.
Can you please help us.

So I tried to give him what you advised. Unfortunately I noticed that calcarea phos doesnt help anymore. What helped him more was calcarea carb in 9c, I gave it to him every 2 days, it helped with his apettite and his tooth pain. He has one last big tooth that is coming out but its taking a LONG time. The last 4 days he was in a very bad mood the whole day and he just managed to tell me that he had a headache. I gave him a bit of paracetamol and it helped him. He has again a very poor apettite.
