This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Follow these steps while taking any indicated remedy.
- Firstly, dont mix remedies in such a short interval of time, because you wont be able to point to a specific remedy in case of any aggravation.
- Always give remedies in pellet form. Dissolve a remedy pellet in a cup of water and then give only a teaspoonful of the liquid solution at a time, a teaspoonful constitutes a single dose.
- Always leave some time between doses to allow the remedies to take full effect. Frequent dosing is harmful and counterproductive. A single dose of any polychrest remedy (Lachesis, Sulphur, Lyco, Calc-Carb etc) will be active in the body for more than a week, and if the dose is repeated during this time, it will react with the previous active dose and eventually cause an aggravation. If any progress was made with the last dose, a fresh dose will often undo that progress. It is therefore best to use a single remedy with a minimal dosing protocol.

For the chronic problem - have you ever tried Anacardium Orientale, if not then try it in 200c when his acute condition is over, just a single dose and observe for 2 weeks.

For the acute problem - looks like Nat-mur not sure, need more symptoms. Is it a dry cough, does he get breathless from coughing?

Thank you for your feedback. Its a dry cough. He has difficulty breathing he said he has to put effort to pull in air. Breathing stops when he coughs. When he breathes it sounds like whistle.
He has not tried Anacardium yet. I was going to start him on Calcarea carb since it seemed to fit his symptoms better, he is fair, fatty flabby in the back and belly region, squanders money, wears stylish clothes, boasting, needs excessive reassurance, wants someone to take him to his appointment dislike going by himself when ill. Masturbates, weakness after ejaculation. Varicocele with bilateral hydrocele, low sperm.
Recent xray showed misaligned back bone which could be causing body pain.

But if its not a good idea to take Calc now let me know.

Not sure if he is afraid to go to doctors, but when was in a lot of pain he finally went to GP. He was referred to heart specialist after showing her past echo report on mild mitral valve prolapse and trace triscuspid and mitral valve regurgitation. But he keeps pushing the appointment ahead saying couldnt go because was feeling sick.

He was unable to walk last month but only after taking some of the homeopathic meds such as Arsenicum which was last one he took before he started walking again but it is still painful so he walks slowly. He had taken Ars 3tab starting early dec for 2 days with a gap of 5days, then restarted mid december took it for 3 days straight 2 times. This is after Nux (started in july), lyco, lachesis, and hyoscyamus.
He gets out of breath while talking or laying down and has to go outside to get fresh air. Also feels dizzy and tired while talking.
He is getting recurrent fever but never checks it with thermometer, is careless and would take tylenol. I am not sure if it really was fever or he thinks it is because of the chills he get, it happens mostly over the weekend. Chronic cough since past 1.5 years. Has a habit of clearing throat loudly and spitting out.
He shivers at night due to fear, nervousness/anxiety and also when he opens his eyes, leaves light on to avoid seeing scary figures upon waking.
He is also having pain in his testicles for the past few months.
Body pain on left side, neck pain, relieves upon laying on the painful side.
He has agoraphobia due to getting lost in crowd as a child.
He has a history of being suspicious of spouse and freaking out in public (crowd or transportation). Fluctuating mood. Anger. Thinks he is superior says whatever, insults. Confusion, weakness in mind difficulty thinking, making decision, changes his mind quickly, forgetful.
Feels sleepy, tired, irritable. When he speaks he feel very irritated from inside feels a want to fight but doesnt know why, feels very angry. He doesnt feel good inside, feels very nervous. When he wakes up to go to work he feels sick from inside and angry.
Whatever he eats or upon waking up he get sour regurgitation in the mouth with headache and dizziness.
Said unable to eat much food now, so lack of appetite.
Eyes feel like burning he feels it looks red when he wakes up.
Hands tremble. Body shivers.
Heart feels weak, anxious.
After taking lyco, constipation and bad odor(armpit, gas) was less.

when he takes too many medicines at once, he feels more sick that is why when he is taking allopathic he tries to avoid homeopathic.

Currently he has flu/covid, eyes red, thirst less, high fever, chills, headache, lots of cough, loss of taste, sorethroat.
Will update on specifics.

Should he take nux one dose to wear of any bad effect of meds (allopath/homeopathic)?

Remedy finder is showing Pulsitilla as the best match.

Yes, you can go ahead with the single doses of Calc-carb and Nux-v as planned.

For this heart condition, you can try Crataegus oxyacantha Q, 5 drops in a cup of water, 3 times a day. Shortness of breath may be due to his heart condition.

Is Calc carb 30c enough or will he need 200c as well? Will he need Pulsatilla as well?

He also has reckeweg R2 and R3 heart drops and Aconite with him.

Many remedies looked indicated, including Pulsatilla, but they only need to be introduced if there are other symptoms at that time, making them the strong choice. The main thing is not to overwhelm the body by introducing too many remedies too quickly. Start first with Calc-carb and observe how he responds to it.

The kind of heart problems you mention are mainly covered by Crataegus Oxyacantha and is also considered a heart tonic unlike Digitalis. Digitalis is present in reckweg r2 and r3 which should always be avoided until its a perfect Digitalis case. Aconite is mainly for acute conditions and its effects last only a day and its also indicated in cases of only functional disturbance with no evidence of tissue change, so it can’t be of much help. You dont need the other remedies in these combination products, the main point is to use only the remedy that is most indicated for the case and to avoid others that are in combination remedies as they will interfere with the recovery process.

Can he start with Crataegus after Nux? or does he need to start calc carb first?

Beax 3 months ago
As Nux-V is used as an antidote to all the previous medications, it must be taken first and then left for 2 days without being followed immediately by another remedy in potency.

If new symptoms appear after taking Nux-V, postpone taking Calc-carb and share the symptoms, otherwise proceed with Calc-carb 30c 2 days later.
If he responds well to Calc-carb 30c, the potency can later be increased to 200c or higher.

Crataegus Q can be started at any time, 3 times a day, 5 drops in a cup of water. Crataegus Q needs to be continued over a longer period of time to get the full benefit.

I think he benefited from lachesis and Ars album. Wouldnt taking nux vomica zeros out their effects too? Can he just take crataegus and calc carb without taking nux?

Is he suppose to drink the entire 1 cup with crataegus 5drops or just a tsp?

Beax 3 months ago
As you said, you wanted to try both Nux-v and Calc-Carb, so with my last post was just informing the order in which to take them, nothing more. If you feel you dont want to try Nux-v, thats fine too, as it wasnt my idea to antidote all the homeopathic and allopathic medicines before starting again.

Crataegus Oxyacantha in tincture Q form, not in potency, 5 drops in a cup of water and finish the cup taking small sips. Repeat the process 3 times a day.

Ugh, he already took Nux 3-4 drops in one cup at 15min interval. I had told him to only take 1 tsp but I think he confused it with Crataegus or the way he was taking these remedies before. Now I am afraid all the beneficial effect of Lachesis, Ars, Hyosc and Lyco will disappear. Will he need to repeat these meds again?

Should he take coffee to get rid of nux effect?

In short, if these remedies have helped him, they will continue to do so and Nux-v wont interfere. No action is needed.

Just make sure hes taking Crataegus Oxyacantha in tincture form (Q or 1x) and not in potency (6c, 12c, 30c etc) as the dosage is quite different for each type. Make sure he doesnt make this mistake.

The information below should clear up any confusion about dosage.
- Remedies taken in tincture form (1x or Q): 5 drops in a cup of water and then slowly consume the contents of entire cup in small sips. The remedy content of a single cup constitutes a single dose.
- Remedies in potency (6c, 12c, 30c etc): Single globule of remedy dissolved in a cup of water and taken only one teaspoonful. One teaspoon constitutes a single dose.

Hi,

So after taking a month break, he finally took one dose (1tbsp) of calc carb 30c on 29th feb, had no reaction so I told him to take a dose of 200c on 3rd march. He developed body acne (he has had this few times in the past). He feels the leg pain is better after taking this. I am hoping his other symptoms that he has been having for some time also get resolved with this such as headache, loose stool after eating, difficulty holding up neck (doctor said its cervical spondylosis), misaligned spine, hard abdominal distension, breathing difficulty, cough, and mind issues I have mentioned earlier. He is fair, fat and flabby so calc carb seems like the right remedy. Should he keep taking a dose every 3days or once a week?

You may wait a week before trying another dose of Calc 200c, and if there is no change in the below symptoms, try these remedies instead of taking the third dose of Calc 200c.
For symptoms of difficult holding neck, Calc-phos 6x.
For hard abdominal distension and loose stools after eating, Aloe 30c.

Was he also taking Crataegus Oxy. for his heart symptoms? If so, has there been any improvement?

JustSayin2 last month
Ok after 2nd dose, will update.
I will have to order calc-phos and Aloe.

He has not been taking Crategus, I believe he only took one dose of this. He has a habit of using things once and then wastes it.

He currently has with him pulsatilla, kali phos, silicea, anacardium along with other ones I have mentioned before. He is very hesitant about buying any more meds, just wants to utilize the ones he have currently. I have heard Pulsatilla helps for loose stool after taking food, and it matches his other symptoms. His stomach is protruded, coming out which matches calc carb. In calc phos, stomach is sunken so I dont think it will suit him. Can he take a dose of pulsatilla after calc carb or does he need to take kali phos (has phosphorus just like in calc phos) before pulsatilla?

He said stool smells bad and is dark green/brown black mixed. Stomach upset gives him severe headache few hours after eating. Sometimes its liquid and sometimes solid. He has urge to pass stool after eating anything especially meat or milk. Sometimes stool involuntary leaves while passing gas. He does not have pain in stomach and no sensation of burning/cutting type of pain in rectum.

Calc-phos 6x has been suggested for the following neck symptom: Difficulty holding up the neck. At 6x you shouldnt look for the similimum to get the benefit, at these lower potencies the remedy will work whether it matches the patients constitution or not.

For the above shared symptoms, Podophyllum seems more indicated, but if he doesnt have it then he can try Pulsatilla 30c.

He has developed acne all over the body its pink with white in the middle. I think Silicea 6x and pulsatilla 30c both helps with acne. He has both of these meds with him. Can he take both, one on the second day? He took calc carb 200c 2days ago, but the acne was there before the second dose. He would get acne on face from time to time, and had acne rash on arms and back from many years but right now its mostly on his body, head, and neck.

Beax last month
Yes, he can try both Silicea 6x and Puls 30c but better to try Silicea alone (3 doses/day, 2 tabs per dose, reduce doses if its starts to get better).

Just remember that lower potencies of Silicea such as 6x will usually hasten the suppuration and then provide relief, but if one wants to abort this stage altogether then Silicea 30c or higher is needed.

So take Silicea 6x daily, correct? What is better for mind and digestive symptoms, silicea 6x or 30c?
[Edited by Beax on 2024-03-20 17:13:04]

Beax last month
Yes, start with 3 doses daily. Then reduce the dose as he gets better.

30c will act deeper and its sphere of action will be wider than 6x, which acts more on the surface level. So 30c is preferred.

JustSayin2 last month
I think I have figured it out, I dont think Silicea will help much. Although I have told him to take it.

I think he needs Calcarea Sulph. This will fix his acne as well as anger issue, mood disorder. He doesnt like to take meds often, would it be better to get 200c ? Is it safe to start after silicea?

Beax last month
Start with 30c and observe before moving to higher potencies. Its ok to try after Silicea.

JustSayin2 last month
What is the difference between calc sulph 12c vs 30c. Is it better to get 12c?

I came across someone mentioning giving Calc Phos 200c for heart failure symptoms. Is it better to buy 200c or Calc Phos 6x? Which one would be better to take along with Crategeus Q?

Would Mag phosphorica D6 and biocombination 28 help him?
