Debilitating anxiety with paranoid thoughts
Could someone please suggest a remedy or regimen for me?41, male, never married, live alone. General physical health is fair. I have suffered with anxiety for the majority of my life. It has increased over the past year. I worry all the time. I have anxiety that makes me unable to function some days. At times, I shake so badly that I am unable to hold a pen or eating utensil. I dont know the source of the anxiety, other than I have started having paranoid thoughts. I am afraid of people, I have much difficulty leaving my home even going outdoors. Yet I am uncomfortable in my own home at the same time. I am terrified of everyone and everything. Especially the people in my neighbourhood. I am frightened by a passing car or any noises from outside. I am suspicious of people and afraid of confrontation or even being approached.
The anxiety is getting unbearable. I have been to allopathic doctors in the past that have tested for everything imaginable, and they could not find a physiological cause. I have seen multiple psychiatrists, and they would only prescribe drugs that I did not find to be effective. I am off all medication at this time.
If someone could recommend a remedy that would bring some relief, I would be very grateful.
Thank you

Hello,
Stomach issues: not really. Occasional episodes of acid reflux, but not often.Bowels fairly normal, only occasional constipation/diarrhea.
Hunger: Usually normal, but of late I have a somewhat low appetite. Most of the time, I am not very hungry, and eat once a day, in the evening. Most days I find that I am hungry several hours afterwards in the night and must eat something.
Thirst: Normal. I drink water throughout the day. Also, herb tea. I do not drink alcohol.
Overweight: yes
Belly fat: yes
Medical issues during childhood: none. Nothing major. Frequent headaches and usually sinus infection each year, I dont experience this now as an adult.
Family medical history:
Mother- good health
Father - can cer, one kidney removed, has said he was pre diabetic.
Maternal grandfather- history of heart problems, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart attacks, multiple heart surgeries.
Maternal grandmother- lung can cer
Paternal grandfather- Long history of heart problems. Multiple heart surgeries, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, strokes.
Paternal grandmother- loss of eyesight with age, almost blindness, stroke, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, very frequent urinary tract infections, ca ncer, mobility issues.
I dont know if it would be helpful to know, but I have also had can cer, and had issues with my blood platelets and my spleen was removed.
Thank you

It has been two days since I have taken the arsenicum album 30c. There was some relief given, and I feel it did some good. During that time, my area was affected by a major storm, which added to my anxiety. I think its effect may have been greater if I hadnt been in severe weather.
I am still experiencing anxiety, but not quite as intense, and I havent noticed much paranoia, although I am still suspicious of the people around me.
Please advise the next step.
Thank you.
