The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Olfaction of remedies

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum and to the world of homeopathy. I will be seeing a homeopathic doctor soon for my daughter. However I am very concerned. Here is why: She has severe mulitple food allergies, environmental allergies, reacts on contact with dairy, has eosinophillic esophagitis. A family member is certain that a homeopath can cure her. As she cannot ingest the medications, the doctor will have her inhale it.

My biggest questions are: can homepathy really cure her problems, the doctor has never cured anyone with her disease and had to learn about it himself inorder to treat my daughter. My daughter is doing well right now on an elimination diet and is on a medical formula. Should I take a chance with homeopathy? She has so many allergies and we are still finding more!

Thank you for your help.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
The reason your daughter cannot ingest medication is that her body does not want to get any 'iller' pardon my grammer!.

Her problems probably originated in Vaccinations !.

Inhalation is an old and well tried method of adsorbing remedies - but due to very little study of the past masters is not much used today.!

You will go on finding fresh allergies as long as she is on a medical formula.

BUT at all costs maintain the diet aspect of treatment.

Certainly homeopathy can cure your child - but not easily , not quickly.

I have been reading some of the other posts, particularly on asthma, as both my children also have asthma and are currently on flovent inhalers.

I would like to learn from you how you feel homeopathy can cure my daughter (4yrs) and why you think vaccinations could be the cause. She has had food allergies from birth - we just did not realise how severe they were until later.

Have you treated any children with multiple food allergies or environmental allergies or even with eosinophillic esophagitis?

Thank you

If you have any records of dates I almost certain you will find that your childrn recieved their first vaccination within weeks of birth.

If the records are accurate I would expect that within 2 - 4 weeks of each successive vaccinaton the allergies would show signs of getting worse.

One of the ways that vaccines are produced invoves the cultivation of the vaccines in eggs. This is significant , in that item below specifically mentions eggs.

Department of Allergology and Clinical Immunology. Clinica Universitaria. Facultad de Medicina. Universidad de Navarra. Pamplona. Spain.

BACKGROUND: Esophagitis is an increasingly diagnosed disease. Patients with gastroesophagic reflux, dysphagia, vomiting or abdominal pain, with a torpid response to the treatment, could be suffering from it. MATERIAL AND METHODS: A 37 year-old male patient with background of gastroesophagic reflux and dysphagia for solids since 2002, self-limited diarrhea episodes and intolerance to alcoholic drinks due to epigastric pain. Skin prick tests, specific IgE, histamine release test and basophil activation test were carried out. RESULTS: Skin prick test to the usual allergens with negative result; prick-prick tests to egg white and yolk, milk and apple with positive result to egg white; total serum IgE within normal levels, specific IgE to egg white with positive result; histamine release test (HRT) and basophil activation test (BAT) with positive result to egg white and yolk. CONCLUSION: The patient was diagnosed eosinophilic esophagitis. The commercial food extracts have a great variability in their allergenic composition, which could result in false negative results in the prick test. Prick-prick with the natural food is a more sensitive technique than prick in the diagnosis of food allergy. There are other useful in vitro techniques, apart from specific IgE, in the diagnosis of food allergy. In our case, an exclusion diet of the involved food was more effective than other treatments for remission of the symptoms.

Children are good subjects for homeopathy , they havent had time to get really screwed up with pharmaceuticals.

However it would be necessary to do an indepth analysis of each individual .

Homeopathy ONLY works on an indivdual basis - there are exceptions to this - but not in your case.

A face to face work with a well known and reputable homeopath would be best.

But ALWAYS bear in mind Prof Kents words
' Homeopathy NEVER fails -- only the individual administering it!!!'

Best wishes
