The ABC Homeopathy Forum

realizing the reality of derealization

i started going through depression in early January of 2006. i've since been diagnosed with bi-polar disorder. i've been smoking pot since may 2005. I never had a problem with smoking pot, it usually helped my depression, until about 2 months ago. I believe i started feeling symptoms of derealization after i ate mushrooms on New Years Eve. I had a bad trip, but it wasn't all bad. Now, when i smoke pot, i dont feel like anything is real. my heart races, my skin turns pale, i get dry mouth and chapped lips, and feel stiff. I wish i could smoke pot and have it relax me and make me feel comfortable like it used to. I'm just not able to feel like myself. Not in any sense.

The only thing is, i realize when i'm feeling the effects of derealization. It's the strangest feeling i've ever experienced. I know it's just my brain playing games with me, but i can't help but to feel the way i do. If anyone can offer any help at all it would be greatly appreciated. I'll try anything. (except anti-depressants) Thank You.
