Food Allergy and Eczema

I need help with my 2 year old son who has been found highly allergic to foods. His Ige level from blood test is 1085 IU/ml. The things that he can eat are potato, banana and milk. He is allergic to all cereals, We have though given him rice sometimes.

We have given him homeopathic medication to treat Eczema and Hives from a Delhi pharmacy. I believe it has helped his condition but taht medication is finished.

I need advice to what medication should I give that helps with the root cause of the problem which is the food allergies.

I would highly appreciate response from all/any of you who has had experiences and can advice me with my son's condition.

Thanks,

Ritu..

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I have an idea but first need to know if he is allergic to any of the following: apples, oranges, pineapple, cranberries, peaches, mangos, acerola cherries, papaya, carrots, spinach, parsley, beets, kale, broccoli, cabbage, tomatoes, barley, or oats.

Thanks for the response:

He is allergic to Barley, Oats known to us by a blood test.

Allergic to Pineapple and Papaya from experience.

We do not know the rest as other foods have not been tried on him.

Please let us know what your suggestions are.

Thanks,

Ritu

I am sorry to say that I am at a loss as to what to suggest. The product I had hoped would help his ezcema has ingredients he is allergic too. The only known complication to it is a known food allegry. I've known of a child allergic to pinapple that can take it without any allergic reaction. But as far as I know, her parents are the only ones who dared to try it anyway. I wouldn't ever suggest that someone ingest something that they are potentially allergic to. The only reason I asked knowing his allergy to cereal was b/c the product is glutin free. I am sorry. I wish I could suggest something that would help. I know his nutrition is exceptionally compramised for such a your growing body. I wish you the best of luck.
