5 yr olds sinus issues 2nd post
I had posted a question on the 4th as to what regimen I may use to help treat and prevent my 5 yr old daughter's sinus issues. She has continuously had problems with ears in the past and sinus infections over the last 2 to 3 years. She constantly has dark circles under her eyes. She was most recently taking zyrtec and nasonex every day for about the last 2 years. I recently took her off of these as I don't agree with this treatment/preventative.We tried taking her off of the meds in December and were met with horrible behavioral issues. Not seeing these yet this time. These issues subsided within about 3 days of starting the meds up again. could this mean addiction of some sort?
The whole family caught a cold/flu about 3 weeks ago. Everyone including 11 month old is pretty much over it but 5 year old is still coughing. Dr just wants to prescribe more antihistamin or cough meds.
Can anyone please help me? I did receive info from a vegi/fruit supplement distributor but am not 100% convinced it is worth the money and or effective after studying up on the product.
I am becomming somewhat desperate to fix my little one. She starts kindergarten this fall and I don't want these issues to effect her experience and learning capabilities.
Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
