Group B Strep & PregnantHi.
I am 24 weeks pregnant and believe I have Group B Strep (as I had it 3 years ago when I had my daughter). I am being urged to take IV antibiotics during labour in order to prevent the baby from becoming infected during labour. As you can imagine this is not something that I really want to do.
Do you have any homoeopathic recommendations? I have read that Thuja helps to clear it, but then I have also read that Thuja should not be taken during pregnancy.

Certainly do NOT use antibiotics.
Strep B is a sign that your immune system is slightly below par. I assume that the blood group of the baby is not antagonistic to your own?.
Take a couple of doses of Thuja 30c on following days.
Then follow that with Silica 6x twice a day for a week -- get tested again 2 weeks later.
This site has a blind spot on the spelling of silica and they spell the crystalline substance --- which you need -- as Silicea.

No there is no problem with our blood groups.
Unfortunately it's not easy to get tested as they don't provide the service on the NHS.
So the Thuja is for getting rid of the infection and the Silica6 is for detoxing, is that right?
Am still concerned about taking Thuja - is there any other remedy?
