Would Arnica 6c help with lower back pain?

My father is experiencing a very strong lower back pain. It has been a problem for years, but two days ago he wasn't able to lay down nor stand up. A chiropractor tried to help but it was just a temporary relief. My father is takink Valerian as a pain killer. In the hospital they advised us thet there is a 50/50 chance for the nerve to be released surgically but the operation would cost over 150,000$.
Homeopathy is our only hope.
Any suggestion would be helpful. Thank you

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Eat lots and lots of Gelatin , jelly babies, jellies etc- this help stop the erosion of the discs.

Use Picric Acid 1m , but STOP taking as soon as there is any relief. Only start again when the problem gets worse.

It just depends on what the real cause of your dad's back pain is. If it is due to prolapse of a disc this will complicate matters but I have helped many cases of chronic back pain with Arnica 30c in the wet dose taken 3 times daily.

You can also add Hypericum 200 in the wet dose taken every 3-4 hours for the pain.

The wet dose is made by inserting 3 pellets of the remedy into a 500ml bottle of spring water which is shaken hard before a teaspoonful which is the dose is sipped.

Please note that these remedies may not be taken if you are already taking the Picric Acid 1M prescribed Walkin. It is best to use the Picric acid for some time and if the response is not satisfactory you can then change over to the therapy I have indicated.

Your statement 'If it is due to prolapse of a disc this will complicate matters but I have helped many cases of chronic back pain with Arnica 30c in the wet dose taken 3 times daily.' is bit confusing. What will complicate matters? My daughter also has large prolapse of L4-L5 discs and adjacent discs also somewhat affected. Will Arnica 30C in wet dose help? Or can you suggest suitable treatment.

It is unlikely that Arnica can help:

'My daughter also has large prolapse of L4-L5 discs and adjacent discs also somewhat affected.'

You have not indicated her age and how she was affected by her present condition as these facts are pertinent to any advice that I can give her.

She can take Arnica 30c and observe if it can help her and you can also use the Hypericum 200 I prescribed the patient in the previous post in 2006 to control her pain.

Report her response in a week.

I have since updated the protocol to make the Wet dose of any remedy in the light of the response that I have had from patients. Please follow my Wet dose protocol below:

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in the Liquid pack in Alcohol, also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this enhances the effect of the remedy on the user.

Thanks for your prompt response Joe.
My daughter is 39 yrs old and a mother of one 6yrs old son.
Her MRI shows large prolapse of L4-L5 discs and adjacent discs also somewhat affected. She has severe pain in lower back and some time down the left leg. When she in sitting or lying position for long and gets up her lower back is badly jammed. She has been advised max bed rest.
Will Arnica or any other medicine help her DISCS back to normal her so that she can lead a normal life?

You have not answered my second query:

'You have not indicated her age and how she was affected by her present condition as these facts are pertinent to any advice that I can give her. '

If you wish to have my advice you must indicate how she first got her spine problem and when it occurred.

Dear Joe
I had mentioned age of my daughter * also her present condition in my earlier post.
As far as how she got this spine problem, it is difficult to say. I think this problem started with wrong postures habits and then it aggravated due to required treatment and precautions not taken over a long period of time. On the other hand she continued to stress herself to carry on the duties of a housewife and a mother.
If at all of relevance I can mention that she had given birth to her son by scissarian delivery.
Please advise if you require any more information about her.
Awaiting your advise. Thanks

Let her take Arnica 30c in the Wet dose thrice daily for 2 weeks and you can report her response.

There is a faint chance that Arnica can help her.
