homeopathic medicines VS pharmacy medicationFrom skfl3286 on 2006-08-18

I was speaking to a pharmacist about homeopathic medicine, and she told me that homeopathic medicines are the same as the medications we have at the pharmacy except the FDA has not approved them. Is this in any way true? What exactly is the difference between the medications in the pharmacy and the medicines we sell on this website? I know that homeopathic medicnes are made from all natural ingredients, but then what are those prescription medicines made of? Can someone please help explain to me the differences? I would greatly appreciate it!
