Strange combination af symptoms
Could anyone please help with this strange combination of symptoms?-diarhoea (for about 10 months)
-when on toilet: liqiuidy, transparent nasal discharge and cough
-anal fistula (for about 4 months)
-loss weight (about 18 lbs)

As Prof Kent said - never stop a diarhoea as it is acting as a vent .
The nasal dicharge is operating in the same way.
And the anal fistula.
THe cough and loss of weight points to the Miasmatic remedy Tubeculinum.
Have you been vaccinated recently or travelled in a place where TB is common?

Regarding diarhoea - I also feel what needs to come out should not be stopped.
Where I live (in Hungary)TB is fairly common. Every infant is vaccinated with BCG within 48 hrs of birth. So I got my 'fair dose of shot' 37 yrs ago, which means not recently.

The wise words of Dr. Kent are very true . . . but he was pointing to a diarrhea that lasts for a few days!!

My GP prescribed me Salazopyrin trying to stop the diarhoea but appearently it does not help. And I honestly believe chemical drugs will not solve the problem and will not help in healing.
I am on fitotherapy and on a very strict diet now, which has reduced the number of bowel movements to 3-4 times a day. (from 7-8). Since then I have not lost more weight, and I have a lot more energy.
So I am trying to find the root of the problem not only to stop diarhoea.
The homeopath I met was not experienced enough to be able to help.

As I am not completely known with the total of your symptoms, I only can advise on the things that you mentioned. Arsenicum Album is the first that came to mind. Try the 30 (C or X) one dose (three globules under the tong). No food directly (one hour) before or after the remedy, only water.
Wait at least one week (!) and repeat the dose when things get any better. Continue with the phototherapy and the diet rules as you do.
