This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
This sounds as if he has taken an overdose.

Did you give him a full teaspoon of the cinnamon ?

The standard dosage that is used by many thousands of Diabetics of Cinnamonium Zeylanica is 1/4 teaspoonful taken twice daily.

Please note that there are 2 forms of Cinnamon. Zeylanica, the type grown in Sri Lanka where I live and Cassia which is grown is other countries especially China. This does not qualify for Diabetes and smells and tastes quite different. A pity that it is also known as Cinnamon.

If after checking the dose of Cinnamon he still reacts to it in the manner you described you should stop giving him Cinnamon and continue with the Arnica 30 in the wet dose only.

I regret that I cannot help you to locate the Cinnamon used in food which grows profusely here in Sri Lanka. I have one in my garden. Even the leaves are aromatic.

The best test is your nose which should pick up this aroma even outside the packet before you open it.

Since your husband was reported to be sensitive to the cinnamon you should stay only with the Arnica.
