check this site, precoscious puberty not unheard of. Please take your child to a doctor right away.

thanks for replying.
there was blood spotting.
she was examined and we were told it was probably hormonal. It's stopped for now but if it starts again, we will have an ultrasound done. This occurs in newborns occasionally before mom's hormones get out of their system but rare at this age.

Hi bren,

my oldest daughter spotted after birth, she was just weeks old, lasted for a day or two. I was told it's common, but i didn't know this happened at 2.

By chance, are you breastfeeding? maybe there is a correlation there.
