thank you Pankaj Varma for the definition - which led me to believe that I made the wrong assessment. My homeopathist treats in an intuitive manner and sees the whole picture and all elements of the physical, emotional and etheric bodies. Thank you for taking the time to illuminate me!

If your homeopath is giving you 3 or 4 meds together ...then he/she is a non classical homeopath as that requires comparison/analysis of drug relationships.

I concur with Pankaj
My classical homeopath had me on only one remedy. On an entire year or longer if necessary.
That's why I avoid him now.
I've taken more remedies in the last 3 or so months than I have in my whole life thanks to websites like this one where I met some great homeopaths like Pankaj, Girilal and Joe De Livera and others
A classical homeopath will keep you on only one remedy no matter what. Which doesn't make any sense at all. What if you went in to see your classical homeopath for psychological issues only and now you developed gall stones then later fell and broke your leg. A classical homeopath will continue to keep you on only one remedy

You might want to look into making yourself a phosphorus HOMEMADE remedy. Matches are very inexpensive. Some stores keep loose boxes of matches behind the counter so you don't have to buy an entire case of it.
This is the remedy that got me through painless with my gum/teeth problems.
I was able to eat a soft diet (including steamed veggies) for a very long time without any pain whatsoever.
I also went through a tooth extraction without any pain at all.
I also took silecea 30c to remove the puss and also took Merc sol 6c but I think it was the homemade phosphorus (matches) remedy that kept me completely pain free. The pain dessipated immediately after taking the homemade phosphorus.
This week I started taking Hekla Lava 8x as the area of the tooth extraction is sensitive to cold. I think it is helping.
Someone mentioned that Hekla Lava in low potency is best as it is a physical thing as oppose to a mental/emotional thing.

I take 15 drops of all the liquid preparations that I have listed. I am also taking a compilation of homeopathic pellets - cycled 1 for 3 days then a break for 5 then start the next one. It is relevant though to say that each individual is different and the way I am being treated works for me....this is the first time in my entire life that I can feel my 'core' being, and feel alive and vibrant.

I suggested you try the homemade phosphorus remedy using matches. It's what helped get rid of my pain.

While I appeciate your help...I'm a bit afraid to try that. I'm going to use the homeopathic remedies...if Hecla Lava is suppose to kill the infection....then I have it here. Hope all is well and thank you again.
