This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Do you possibly mean Parasympathetic. There are two branches of the nervous system, one is Sympathetic, the other is Parasympathetic. Your Sympathetic Nervous System to put things into simple terminology is the gas pedal of your car. The Parasympathetic Nervous System is the Brakes of your car. If you were in a state where you perceived some sort of intense danger and your body processes speed up, you get anxious, tense, nervous, ready to do battle so to speak (also known as FIGHT OR FLIGHT) you would be considered as Sympathetic Dominant meaning that your Sympathetic Nervous system is in high geer, over responsive. Hope this helps some.

You can also find some great information on Sympathetic and Parasympathetic here:

Welcome to the world of 'Sensitives' as they call people like us. I myself am extremely sensitive to people's emotions, energies, etc.

Do you find that you're sensitive to chemicals as well? I usually will get headaches from fumes, smoke, cleaning supplies etc.

As far as chemical imbalances in the brain, even if they are supposedly genetic, it's my opinion that there is always something causing it, some toxin creating the imbalance and if you remove the toxin you correct the imbalance. (Always easier said than done though).

If you want, you could try posting some more information about yourself, Age/Sex/Location (and type of climate you live in) along with your physical symptoms and mental characteristics, things that make you unique or different, likes and dislikes, and maybe someone can help point you in the right direction as far as a remedy that would be best suited for you.

Keep in touch :)

P.S. If you decide you want to post your symptoms you might want to start a different post.

And to answer your question is it all related, very well could be. Complex cases are multi-faceted. Even though I myself at times too look for the magic bullet, there usually is not one. Now sometimes you'll find somebody has mercury fillings and getting them removed solves all their problems, but that's not usually the norm. With people who are sensitive, have lots of allergies and many health problems it's usually a lot of different things contributing to the cause and toxic build up over the years of emotions, chemicals, vaccines, etc. The trick is to find the primary issue and work your way back through the layers one at a time, while still hopefully addressing some of the symptoms along the way so you can notice some improvement in your health, but it's not always easy.

Sounds good.

The only reason I suggest a new post is to grab the attention of others who might best be able to help you. So you might want to try something like 'Need help with chemical imbalance in the brain and multiple allergies." Doesn't have to be that, just an idea, you'll come up with something.

Rest up, and hope you feel better.
