Gluten intolerance + Hypothyroid

Deat all,

I am 35 years old (Male) and have a problem of Gluten intolerance and hypothyroid. Currently I am avoiding all gluten (wheat) and dairy products as the doctors told me that I am also Caesin intolerant. I am not complaining for not been able to eat any wheat or milk products but my main concern is the fatigue, letahrgy (to a great extent), weight gain ( I have gained 20 pounds in last year, poor concentration, memory loss. I am on 0.050mg of levo-thyroxine for last 5 years. In the past I had malabsorption and osteomalacia, but I think its cured now after I stopped wheat and dairy products.

My main concern is the letargy and fatigue that is impeding my life and my family's life too. I know that there are so many kind people like you and please if some one can take a look into my problems and advise me some medications. I want to become active and energetic in life. I also have chronic lower back pain, but I am taking care of it by doing some back exercises. Clealry you can see that my life is messed up. Please help!!!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Also forgot to mention hair loss and dry itchy skin too.

Dear Sir,
I being a hypothyroid patient have been watching the clinical symptoms. The symptoms you exhibit is essentially the lowthyroid and body is still in need of more thyroxine. The latest range for a better thyroid is TSH 0.3-2.6
Above 2.6 thyroxine dosage need to be increased. Pl. consult a thyroid specialist. Change your life style. compulsory morning walk, light yoga & Pranayam is better. Check your lipid profile also.

Thanks Lalli for your reply. My throid levels are normal. I got it tested last month and they were all normal.

Well, I definetly need to follow other suggestions like morning walk and yoga. I used to do it before, but the cycle breaks in between. I am desperately looking for some homeopathic help here. If someone can just advise me some homeopathy medicines, I will be very greatfull.

Regards...
Sumit

Dear sumit

You say that your TSH levels are normal, yet you have all the symptoms of being hypothyroid, and still you are using allopathic medicine, and that too for 5 years. If you are based in india, please consult an experienced homeopath, try to change your diet (you can google and find out), and please stop taking allopathic medicine under a homeopath's guidance. I am not a doctor, and but i have been treated for my thyroid by a homeopath, and the life is much better than before.

Thanks a lot Sazim for your reply. I am able to see some hope with Homeopathy now. I am not based in India and therefore had a hard time getting hold of a good homeopath doctor. If you or anyone reading this post know a good homeopath who can take my case, please let me know.

God Bless.

Sumit.
