Dear deoshlok,
My father got a stroke 18th july this year. He is 81 years old, and was fully active before the stroke. He was paralysed in the left leg which has improved. His has begun move his left arm, but not the fingers. The doctors say he has atrial fibrillation (no medication), high blood pressure (bp medicated), severe osteoarthritis (no medication) and his taking warfarin too prevent recurrent blood clots. First doctor said he had the stroke due to AT, other said was due the high blood pressure. I have given him Arnica since the first day. But due the paralysis in his back, leg and arm many homeopathic practioners has suggested Lycopodium (3 weeks), Phosporus (stopped after one day because of antidote to Causticum), Nux vomica (because of flu last week, and the cold left arm became warm), Aconitum (once a week nothing happened for two weeks), Baryta carbonicum (3 days, but became sleepy) and Rhus tox (for the arthritis). When he was given Causticum for 2 weeks ago he slowly begun to be able move his leg quite well, but not so much more with the left arm, he could bend his spastic back little bit more than before. He is has a clear mind good memory and social. The stroke affected his room perception - like he kind of confused about the 'middle point' of the balance: sideways, forward and backwards. He 'pushing' with his stronger right side when he trying to stand. He has very low appatite and became not to like fruits anymore (which he really liked before the stroke). I think mentally he was best on Lycopodium and physically on Causticum, but they are antidoting or immersal. What shall he have for the stroke, balance, severe deformation of the joints due the osteoarthritis (x-rayed now) eventually AT?

This thread undoubtly help the practioners as well as seekers.In my openion when patient facing severe type of pain he should be adviced to take 6c potency of Arj met and gradully when the patient will feel less pain always contuning then better to take its 30c for long time.Thanks

Even in homeopathy it is not unusual that as long as medicine is given, problem stays at bay. The reason is that immunity is constantly fighting with opposite forces including pollution, streess, life style etc.
Most times repeating the medicine is beneficial because if a problem stay at bay in those specific conditions, it gives enough momentum for the problem to subside.

i was caught with viral fever in last december and there was joint pain associated with it.still the pain is left in both my knees.i couldnt climb stairs and couldnot even sit folding both my knees ...the pain seems recurring sudden.. there 's some swelling around right knee..while pain in both..i am just 19 yrs old,female,42kg,i am a very jolly person..i was a highly active girl but this joint pain restricts me from walking speedily and runing etc..
kindly give the correct remedy ...

I am 29 years old and suffering from joints pains from last 8 years. I have tried various medicines like ayurvedic, allopathic, Yunani and for some time homeopathic also. Now these days I am consuming Tab. Cleft 10, Neotrexate 7.5 Mg and Voveran SR. From last few days I am suffering from Protein Deficiency.

iam 35yrs old ,i have got uric acid,and iam on zyloric,for the past 2yrs.since i started zyloric my uric scid is only4.7,anything below 7 is normal.one day ie,4-5 months back, i got pain in my left index finger joint.after a week i got body skin rashes and fever,the skin dr said it was rubell,and my gen dr said it was chikkun gunia,during this period al joints pained like hell,
after a course of antibiotic and rest fever and rash dissapeared.but that index finger joint pain continued,till now .after the fever i got hypersensitivity pain in tip of finger in addition to existing joint pain,i met nuero specialist,he did nerve conduction study on both arms to rule out nerve compression on wrist(carpal tunnel syndrome)the nerve did conduct,he then said it will subside and started gababendin and pain killer,3 month passed away with no improvement,i went to a homeopath he gave me some pills,upon taking the first dose i got fever and throat pain,(may be a co-incidence),i was put on antibiotics,this time on the second day finger tip hypersensitive pain dissapeared,buy the sensitivity and joint pain is still remaining,i again took a second course with homeopath,this time the apin reduced by 50%,again 3rd course the pain was almose ok,the homeo course was over,i started using my hand a nd finger,now i have the same joint pain with the same terrible intensity,i again consulted my nuero,he took xray of my left hand,xray normal,he has referd me to a rhematologist,and wanted to have an mri done on my neck and spine.what shall i do?my left index finger joint is slightly swellen,and hurt when i move it away from other finger side ways,something inside my finger is being pulled which causes pain.and finger tip is also very soft,i thing muscle wasting has started in that finger tip,it is so raw to touch as if there is no skin,buy pain to touch is not there?my rhematologist says he will put steroid injection in the joint.please help me.i dont have the habit of taking cofee or tea,i take only milk.

What happened? The patient is not yet cured despite your expert advice. It is now 2 and half year. There is lot of difference in Theory and practice.

I read your post and from the description of your ailment which you stated first started last December with Joint aches which carried over for the last 9 months up to date, I believe that you suffered from Chikungunya which is a mosquito borne virus disease which is usually very difficult to treat without the one remedy Polyporus Pinicola 200c which CURES the patient in under 48 hours.
I presume that you live in India and you can get this remedy in some Homeopathic Pharmacies. You will use this remedy in the 200c potency in the Wet dose which is made precisely as indicated below and you will take it twice daily.
If my diagnosis is correct you should experience some relief within the week. Please report progress weekly.
The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:
Order the remedy in the Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in some countries.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capfull which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done every time before a capful of the bottle or a large teaspoonful of the remedy is sipped as directed.
