I get very irritable from sounds, many like the ones you mentioned. My children are also hypersensitive to sound. The homeopath we are working with mentioned that it can be attributed to a zinc deficiency and that the hypersensitive to sound part is the LAST thing to be remedied with supplementing zinc. Are you on any type of zinc or have you had your minerals tested???

Another option for you would be to check into Auditory Integration Training. I've done it with two of my children with great success. It has helped them to filter sounds properly.

Best of luck.
