Hi,

Thank you for responding . What exactly is taking a wet dose mean?
Also he has been taking it for about 2 weeks, should he stop for a couple of days and see how he feels?
How bad was your pain when you had it?

Hello,

Wet dose means you take one dose and dissolve in good quality water (500ml, or whatever the homeopath directs you to use). You then take a tsp (or so) or the water and that constitutes a dose. Put the remainder in the refrigerator. Sometimes people tell you to use a split dose, which is an extended wet dose. You disolve several pellets of the remedy in the water bottle, and everytime you take a dose, you succuss it by hitting the bottle firmly 5-10 times. Put a tsp into a small cup of water and stir. Take 1 tsp of the water in the cup and hold in your mouth for a few seconds then swallow. Toss out what's in the cup.

If you look at earlier posts on my thread, you will see that I was advised to take a dry dose, followed by a wet dose later. I was then advised to wait and see how things developed.

I had severe pain that made me go to emergency/urgent care. I could hardly breathe because taking deep breaths was extremely painful. A good night's sleep always alleviated my pain somewhat, but just simple stuff like dressing my daughter and taking her to school made me arrive at work with agonizing pain.

This pain went on for at least a month before I came to the forum looking for help. I had been medicating with ibuprophen.

I felt relief almost right away after taking the meds, and within a few days it had completely gone, unlike the first time I had the problem in my teens.

I would advise your son to note when the pain subsides, and when it worsens, when it feels most intense (mine was on taking a deep breath and when lifting) and when it feels better (for me it was burping and when straightening my shoulders, also it felt less intense in the morning after awakening).

I thought that if you took a remedy for too long or for too often that you could actually prove it.
