white scales on both the elbow joint

dear freinds, iam having a white patch like thing, every day i can take a patch of white scale like thing after that it looks red for that dat day next day i can pull out the same kind of thing.when consulted skin splst he said its psoriasis and gave me the cream called EXECAVATE. actually it moisturises for a day then the same problem .help me out to get rid, thanks
