teething babe

My nearly 5month young babe is teething and I'm wondering if homeopathy can help the process? Seems like the teeth start to come through but then disappear again. Is that even possible?! Symptoms:fussy during daytime, not able to play, constant chewing and drooling, pain and unable to appease it.

Chamomilla is probably the most common remedy for teething.

Sycotic last decade

Chamomilla or aconite. Take one remedy at one time. Give the remedy in 30 potency. Take 3 doses on one day and wait for a week to judge results.

I'm too afraid to give chamomilla as I tried it before (5c potency) and he got pretty worked up - as if a totally opposite reaction to any calming effect chamomilla is supposed to bring. Is this normal?

Sometimes low potency disturbs. Consider giving the remedy in 30c thrice on a single day and wait for progress.

Note:

If you feel that your kid's having a bit of aggravation after first dose, you can consider giving 2nd and 3rd dose through wet dose.

Bio-chemic: Calcarea Phos 3X ...given to the child two tabs four times a day during teething helps to build strong teeth.

Chamomilla is good for the pain, mind agitation and green stools during teething.

In this case Calcarea Phos 3X will not disturb.

low potencies of certain medicines do disturb,because they act more on the phisiological plane,and are not sufficiently energised.

Example of low potencies to be avoided include, Ars.alb, all snake poisions.

In centesimal scale, upto 12c, there's physical material of the medicine and in decimal scale, upto 24x there'll be materia of the remedy.

When one crosses this threshold, remedy only carries subtle energy rather than materia.
