Difficult Urination

I've tried just about everything and am now giving homeopathy a try.

I've had urination problems for the past few years. There's a difficulty in starting the stream (must wait a few seconds) and the stream isn't very strong. On the bad days, the stream will stop on its own and must be restarted a few times to finish voiding. Restarting requires continuing to push while squeezing on the penis to build up pressure internally.

There is no pain and I rarely wake during the night having to urinate. I don't feel the urge to urinate frequently and I am able to void most of the bladder. There is no prostate enlargement (as per DRE) and there are no internal strictures.

Alpha blockers are the only thing that's helped, though they only work somewhat.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You need to post more symptoms.

Sometimes bladder muscles become weak. (Reversible).

Do you experience vertigo, dizziness in the head.

Have you got your BP checked?

Age?

Supression of Sexual urge ???

Any other medical problems at present or in recent years??

Any history of stones in bladder, kidney etc.

No to all of those.

31 y/o.

I've never been treated for any medical problems other than a couple of athletic injuries.

A urologist also tried putting my on some drug that's supposed to increase the bladder tone, but that did nothing.

The only other things is that my accupuncturist thinks that my tongue is too white. I don't eat a ton of sugars and have never had any of the typical candidiasis symptoms.

Sorry, hit wrong button.

I also feel that whatever muscle stops the flow of urine and squeezes out the last bit is too weak. There's also a weakness in the contraction on ejaculation. It's not terrible, but it's certainly less than it used to be.

No one has a clue?

I'm going to try Borox and GSE with a low carb/sugar diet for a while and see what happens.

I have recommended the use of Arnica 6c for cases of Urinary incontinence and for easing the flow of urine for patients with BPH or Prostate enlargement but yours is a different case. Arnica has some effect on the urinary system which is not completely understood and it may be worth while using it for a few weeks to see how it can help you.

The dose is 2 balls taken 3 times daily. All homeopathic remedies should not be touched by hand and should be placed under the tongue using a teaspoon.

No coffee, cold drinks and preserved foods like bacon and sausages which contain saltpeter may be used as they neutralise the medicine.

Post the response of this remedy on this BB in a week.

Thanks for the suggestion. If the Borox 30c doesn't do anything for me, I'll try the Arnica.

A homeopath recommended Staphysagria 200c, but that hasn't helped at all.
