Polysystic kidney disease kidney failure and heart failure

Hi,
I am a 28 year old male.Born with mitral valve defect. Had valve replaced as child. Valve working fine but last year was told that I had heart failure and that heart function was 30%.At same time I was told I had p.k.d and my kidneys were functioning just over 40%.I am on current medication from my heart specialist

WARFARIN 7mg daily
DIGOXIN 125mcs daily
ATENONOL 100mg daily
QUINAPRIL 10mg daily
DOZOSASIN 4mg daily

My energy levels are still quite good and my day to day general health is fine.No edema (fluid build up)visible. I take SOLIDAGO COMPLEX 10 drops twice daily and two cups GOLDEN GRASS tea for my kidneys, As for my heart I have started taking CO-ENZYME Q10 60MG daily. I have to be careful with treatments because of the volatile nature of the warfarin anti-cogulant medication. I would be very grateful if anyone could please help me with any homeopathic remedies to help my conditions. I am very anxious as I have been told I will be facing both a heart and kidney transplant in the future.
Many Thanks

As you are taking Co-Enzyme Q10 60mg, I suggest you take one 60mg capsule three times a day for a total of 180mg per day. This will help with your heart problems, (arrhythmia, fibrillation, but not valve though) and your kidney problems.
If you have the finances, take up to 300mg a day (60mg five times a day).

The 'CoQ10 Facts' below should be brought to the attention of your cardiologist.

Two links appear to be dead, so I've provided the correct links below.

With your heart and kidney conditions, it would be wise to consume NO sugar, sweets, soda's, 'junk foods', MSG laced foods, etc... NO tea (except herbal) or coffee.
Eat organically grown fruits and vegetables. (Not grown with pesticides, chemical fertilizers, genetically modified, etc.) Drink 8 to 10 glasses of pure water daily. (If you are still able to pass 1.5 liters of fluid a day there is STILL hope to reverse your kidney problems.)

With only 40% renal function I would suggest Vitamin C supplementation too, BUT start SLOWLY with no more than 500mg a day. The reason you MUST start slowly is vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin, and it requires RENAL FUNCTION to eliminate toxins from the body. With low renal function, you are in a 'catch 22' situation, as your body NEEDS vitamin C, but has difficulty removing the bodies toxic load. (Your kidney can become stressed with too much of a toxic load.)

Once your renal function has improved, you can supplement with between 3000 to 9000mg of vitamin C daily.
Only supplement with 'L-acsorbic acid' or 'L-Sodium ascorbate', as a powder.
NEVER supplement with 'Calcium ascorbate', as the calcium causes heart problems, plus many other problems.

If you wish I can suggest 30 other supplements which can improve your health.

God Bless,
Tim

Hi Tim,
Many thanks for your helpful post. Regarding the Co-enzyme Q10, I am aware of the benefits for both my heart and kidneys, but I have a problem the the drug warfarin which I need to take. It is an anti-cogulant as you will know and I am taking the Co-enzyme Q10 against the instructions of my doctor(G.P). I asked him and he said no as it would interact with the warfarin. So, I started off with this small dose of 60mg and am going to monitor my blood I.N.R level. I had it tested two weeks after starting the co-enzyme Q1O and all seemed fine. Im am due to get the I.N.R level checked 16th Nov, this will have been 6 weeks since checked last. I will increase co-enzyme Q1O dosage if all remains stable (hopefully).

As for the kidneys, I was told that they were working around 40% two years ago when diagnosed, I have been with renal specialists several times since and they have never told me what my renal function is at present, to be quite honest, they too are more interested in my heart condition, I feel, as they've told me before, that my kidney failure is unstoppable, they're just waiting until my kidneys fail so they can get on ahead with the job of dialysis. I will start the VIT C as you suggested but what dosage would you suggest if kidney function is around 25-30%?
As for the diet, what about meat, chicken or fish? Also, what about de-caff tea?

Many Thanks Tim
God Bless You Too

Frank
