Homeopathy remedies (for humans) suitable for dogs?

Can anyone advise if the homeopathic remedies that we purchase for our own use is suitable to be used by dogs?

If it is, should I use the liquid (which has some alcohol) or the tablet version?

My dog seems to be having a colorless discharge from the nose and keeps on sneezing (quite strong sneezing at times), especially when he is about to go to bed and when he wakes up. But it also happens on other times of the day. He also seems to have a smaller appetite these days when I noticed the sneezing. I think he might have caught some bug while staying in a dog motel recently.

Can anyone advise what remedy to use?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Absolutely they can be used for dogs, and based on the same physical, mental and emotional symptoms as people!

Someone else will need to recommend a remedy for you. Tablets or pills can be crushed between two clean pieces of paper and given orally that way or dissolved in water and given as a 'wet dose'.

I cured many street dogs with itching problems with Sulphur and Hepar Sulphur 30 (all human grade).

100's of poor beasts were cured but not with a single dose but medicine was put on a piece of bread and was given at least twice a day for a month.

Our generalmanager may have a final saying on this matter, what I said is unofficial. His approval is utter neccessary.

No full case was taken, no questions were asked to dogs, no family history was taken.

I've just got back from the vet and have the summary of the symptoms, if this helps further:

- Irritated trachea on palp
- heartworm - dirofilaria immitis, resp noises ok
- tonsils red, enlarged

Diagnosis:
- URT inflammation

The vet has prescribed an antibiotic - Vibratvet-50 for 6 days, but if there's a homeopathic (human grade) remedy, I'd be happy to use it too.

My unofficial advice to you is to follow your vet's instructions and once your doggie is stable, we may do something for his immunity problems. Please also explain the kind of problems he usually get into.

Our generalmanager will hae a final saying on this matter, he visites all posts each day and his comments are final.

He probably caught this bug from another dog/puppy when he stayed in a 'dog hotel' last week. I noticed that he began sneezing violently on Monday and then the next day his appetite became smaller and had to be mouth-fed, otherwise he wouldn't eat his food.

Apart from that, he's been pretty healthy.

He's only coming to 6 months old, so I guess his puppy immunity is not that strong.

Today, I've just realized his twin brother starting to sneeze as well - I think the bug has now spread to him too.

Hope to hear from the General Manager soon. My dog is on the 3rd day of his antibiotics and is still sneezing rather violently with watery discharge from his nose.

I'd really like to boost up his immnue system and as well his brother's.

In 3 weeks' time, they are also going to be neutered and I don't wish them to suffer much pain or discomfort. What can I give them prior to the operation and post-op?

Appreciating your advise, thanks
