Root canals etc.

My friend just went to the dentist for a check up and has to get 2 root canals repaired, one has an infection, it has already been redone once. The dentist wants to do more root canals on other teeth. She was mortified by this as it seems they are always looking for work to do. She has no pain at all in her head or mouth. She has recently also started using Lachesis as this is her constitutional.
Are there remedies that can rid her of the root canal infection? Will her constitutional rid her of the infection? Will that take some time? She has head sweats, and I read somewhere in a homeopathic book that a fever = sweating, will sit in the body at the site of an infection, could the head sweats be a result of the dental infection? She has had the head sweats for 6 years.
She has so far responded well to the Lachesis though she has only been on it for a few weeks. She has more energy. Should she wait a while and see if the Lachesis fixes the infection, or take other remedies for the infection.
Dentist pointed to a dark area on x-ray and said that it was the infection, though she said she had no pain. Could the lack of pain be a lack of reaction?
She needs to know if she should by some time or let the dentists have their way.
any help please,
salty
