This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Consult some veternary doctor about whereabout thymus gland in goat/sheep and visit butchers in the morning. Sheep or goat's gland would be fine.
Put the gland in the blender and then add alcohol.

This is the history of how Thymus gland extract is made.

One of the first extensive studies of the thymus gland was the work carried out in 1905 of the Swedish Professor HAMMAR. In 1924 THURNER homogenized thymus gland in a saline solution and subsequently filtered it. In 1929 NIETSCHKE saturated a thymus suspension with an acetic acid solution and isolated large molecule protein by an iso-electrical potential. Yet another five years later ROWNTREE succeeded in obtaining a thymus gland extract by heating with sodium chloride at 68_·C. By precipitating large molecule, decanting and supernatant he was able to establish a pH of approximately 3.5

If you put a thymus gland in a mixi and add alcohol, you may get at best, some thing nauseating even to see,and if you happen to take it,be prepared to go to ER.
Try at shops who sell imported homeopathic medicines. It being a rare medicine, need some searching around.

Gavini has pointed correctly. All those things he mentioned were done to bring the ph of thymus gland below 7 so it could be preserved for long time.
A gland is a gland, different manufacturers use different methods to preserve things. Some put vinager, vinager is totally distructuve, it even dissolves egg shell.
Some use salt to preserve anything meat. But in these days alcohol is used because it is widely available.
If gave you a recipe, if you are unable to obtain it at all all, you an have it.

I gave you a recipe, if you are unable to obtain it at all, you can still have it. Patient would not be deprived of a medicine that he/she needs immidiately.
By websites or mail orders it is very difficult to obtain mother tinctures. This site too does not sell any mother tinctures.
