can you treat acute illness during chronic condition

I woke up this morning with a sore throat, a bit lightheaded... night sweats last night.

currently I took a dose of lycopodium 30c last week for my chronic eczema. My progress continues with the eczema.

My question is, can or should I find a remedy for my sore throat flu, or will that interfere with my Lycopodium for eczema?

Thanks for any advice.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
If you can leave the sore throat alone, and let the body resolve itself, it is better.

If you can't, and have to treat the sore throat, you may have to repeat the constitutional medicine once again., after your acute problems are resolved.

Better not to disturb, the action of the acting remedy, as far as possible.

Thanks Murphy. I would rather suffer short term with the sore throat than risk my long term treatment. I'll pass on trying any remedy.

Responding to the title you have given to the thread:

Sometimes...the acute situation is one form of manifestation of the underlying chronic problem.
