No effect from high doses
I've taken some fairly high doses over the years--100c and above--once was taking 10M or CM nat.mur without noticeable effect. I've recently been taking Lycopodium and Nat. Mur at the 30C level several times a day, also without noticeable effect. I'm trying to improve a dull headache--weak cerebral circulation. My health is excellent in the physical realm but I feel dull and weak on clarity issues...Ridgewalker on 2004-10-06

Just a clarification. When you take a higher potency it won't work at all if it doesn't fit. The higher the potency, the more important it is for your symptoms to match the remedy closely.
This is why 6C and 12C and 30C are often given. They can have benefits even if the match isn't as good.
The idea MORE...more pills, more times, and more potency works better is totally wrong for homeopathy. Remember that the homeopathic remedy is just trying to kick start your body's healing response. The medicine isn't doing the healing, your system is. Just give it the correct pattern to repond to.

another interesting concept.
So far I was thinking if the remedy selection is correct,but if it is not working,the only option is increase the potency and try.
Now, I know I am wrong.You may have to lower it further,till reaction sets in.

Thanks for your interest in helping me. I am a very tall wasp mail, 44. I have an excellent diet--no junk food, have been trying to avoid coffee recently, etc.. I've been out of work for a while, have an upset anti-Bush syndrome attitude. I've been trying to spend more time in rural Vermont, but am pretty sensitive emotionally to my surrounding. I have no obvious physical symptoms, except for a long-standing billious headache. I therefore feel numb sometimes and uninterested in the mad rat-race of a world. I tend to eat somewhat compulsively high fiber health foods. Don't know if this is enough...

Take it about 2/3 hours before going to sleep.
