excessive weight loss

I'm not really sure what's going on with my body right now. I've been losing weight excessively and am down to 96 pounds from 107. It's not a huge difference I also hav e a small frame. I'm 23 years old and my mom says that it's just my body type. I however disagree. I eat 3 meals a day most days and also snack. I've never had an eating disorder persay other than when I have anxiety I can't eat very well. I've been having anxiety issues and also (which has been normal for me) I have an excessive amount of flatulence and gas in my torso all the time. I'm not sure what is going on but if anyone can help I would much appreciate.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
How long did it take to loose from 107 to 96 pounds?

If it was at the rate of around 4 pounds per month, there is not much to worry.

How old are you, and what is your height? Male/female?

96 lbs is still pretty low I would have thought. Has the thyroid been checked? Tell us more about yourself, the type of person you are, the things you like and dislike etc.

I am a 23 year old female. I have been losing/staying around this weight for about 1 year now. I had my thyroid checked awhile ago. can that change? My height is 5'2. I feel really skinny (I would like to add at least 10 pounds to my frame) I eat about 4 small meals a day. Sometimes (like when I have anxiety I get maybe 2 meals a day) I'm a generally nervous person (nowadays) I used to be more laid back and grounded.

get your thyroid checked once again. Eat healthy food, and do some exercises.

Other than the weight loss,do you have any other problems?

List out all of them.

My only other problems are that I have excessive gas and bloating most of the time. (i've kind of always been this way) But I went to the chiropractor and the x-ray of my torso showed huge gas bubbles. He said it looked kind of abnormal. Other than that the anxiety is the only other problem than weight loss and gas!

Get your thyroid checked once again and report results.
