Ferrett with fatty tumors/enlarged spleen

My sister has a female ferrett that is 7 years old and although she does not have much left of her life expectancy, I would like to help her with giving her ferrett the best possible quality of life, until she passes.

Currently she is on steroids and is facing a possibe surgery to have her spleen removed for:

-Enlarged spleen
(Abdomen is bloated and feels swollen).
-Fatty Tumors
(One on either side of her neck and one under each of her arms).

-She is easily fatigued, especially since her spleen became enlarged
-She is albino, delicate, and sensitive
-Sweet and affectionate disposition
-Prefers warmth and chills easily
-Aversion to sweets

Any advice, remedies for the tumors/spleen, etc. is a blessing.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
hi
Why is she taking steroids?
Is she spayed? If no then she produces estrogen which gives tumors when combined with some steroids (like prednizone).
That's what happened to my dog anyway.

I forgot actually my advice: for the animal's comfort: no drugs and no surgery!

Yes Astra that is why I am looking for homeopathic suggestions.

She is spayed and she is on steroids for the next 2 weeks, I believe to suppress her immunity, because as always the vets want to push this back into the body, which is trying to fight off whatever is going on internally.

hi Namaste (does it mean "Walk in light"?)
Did she have any children?
Is she rather skinny or plump or quite obese?
fatty tumors-are they lipomas?Do they grow?Are soft/hard?

Frankly I think that what the vets are doing is silly - and my mom is a regular DVM so I don't say that easily-but actually they have no idea themselves what they are doing! Unfortunately these are people you think you have to trust that want the best for the pet.(maybe they do but most of all they have egos and image to preserve).

Homeopathy is based on the notion that body heals itself (properly selected remedies only jump start the healing process) using its vital force, defense mechanisms, immunology. If her def.mech. is supressed with steroids-homeopathy will not work.
Only after they are stopped and some equilibrium returned, giving homeopathic remedies will have some sense.

She is skinny and had no children.

I do not fault the vets and never have. We all have choices. Knowledge is power, however.

Again I am here for remedy suggestions and am aware of steroid suppression/blocking homeopathy's action. Thank goodness she will be off steroids in another week.

Hi Namaste (so? What does it mean?)
I first thought of calcare arsenicosa but as calcareas (except calc. phosp) it may be rather plump. But it is a suggestion anyway.
Two runner ups can be skinny - baryta carbonica and phosphorus.
Now, hopefully you will have a chance to check these remedies in some Materia Medica.
I do not fault any particular vet-however it would be nice if they could perform miracles.
