Help requested for runny nose, sneezing
Dear Doctors,My son who is three years old is suffering from runny nose (some times like water, some times a little bit thick brownish colour) and a little bit fever since monday.
Please let me know what homeopathic would be best for him? I have sepia, bryonia, belladona.
On the other hand, I am suffering from runny nose and serious sneezing since two three months! Some times it is better with histamin but it come back again. Sometimes there is a pain in my sinus area.
Please also let me know what homeopathic medicine is best for me.

try arsenic alb 30 2 drops disolve in a 1/2 cup of distilled/or purified water and take 1 spoon thrice in a day and to your son 20 drops three times in a day for at least 1 week.

If there is no improvement, even after six doses, the medicine is not correct, and you have to explore other options.
Continuous dosing of Ars.alb may be counterproductive.

Dear Dr Deoshlok,
I have used arsenic alb 30c for my son and myself. My son was better but he has started again with runny nose and coughing (dry).
Please let me know what medicine should I use for that.

Give the Belladonna 30C two doses. if it is due to cold weather, give a few doses of aconite 30C initially. If the the cough is a hacking cough,
give spongia 30 C alternating with Bell 30c two doses each.
The cough and cold symptoms keep on changing, if they are not cured with initially few doses.
Then according to the symptoms at that time , the medicine will be given.
Any throat problem -cough, sore throat, even cold- a few doses of Bell C aborts it .
If the disease doesnot get aborted, then medicine on symptoms.

In the past some time I have experienced that he has suffered from fever (38-39 C) after the cough.

If he is getting fever with cough, it means that he has got sore throat. There are many medicines for the sore throat depending upon symptoms.
The safest is to give him Bell 30c and merc-iod-ruber 30C alternately. If the throat pain is severe and his uvulva is swollen. give him phytolocca 30C . If his throat seems swollen, give him apis 30.
There are many other medicines depending on symptoms, but in initial sore throat, Bell 30 can be given every hour.
