Two Remedies - Which one? or Both?

Hi. I'm posting this for a friend of mine.

She's suffering from arthritis (her left knee and fingers), especially for the past couple of months. When she gets up in the morning, her knee is really stiff, but it gets better after she starts to get going. The same thing happens after sitting in front of PC for a while and when she stands up, she feels pain in her knee. She is restless at night, around 4 in the morning. Because of her symptom, she was recommended to take Rhus Tox, but when she read homeopathy book for beginners, she found Pulstilla was more suitable such as less thirst, cannot take warm air, etc.

She is wondering if she can take two different remedies.
She seems to match for the both remedies. If she can't, which one she should try? If she can, how she should take? One remedey at day on alternate days?

She should see a professionl homeopath but cannot afford it right now.

Thank you very much for any info.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
OK, I should have read the previous posts on this question.

I guess that one should not take two remedies at the same time.

Now my new question is that if she chose one of the two, how long shouuld she wait to see if that's the right remedy? What is the sign for it?

With the right remedy, the paerson feels a sense of well being in his/her person within a week or so even if the physical symptoms do not improve immediately. There may be an initial aggravation of the physical symptoms and then an amelioration.Better would be if you post more details about the illness and the remedies that you have in mind.
