Infection in a leg wound
My brother races motorcycles and cut his leg pretty badly. He got stitches and now he has a fever and the area around the stitches is stightly swollen and red. Would pyrogenium help? If so, what dose would be appropriate? He is 26 years old 196 pounds. Thank you.Gwen7 on 2003-09-14

GIVE HIM LEDUM 30 every two hours
and ARNICA 30 every two hours.
(with a gap of one hour from each other).(Internal).
External: Dress up the wound with CALENDULA ointment if left open by the doctors >>>> or when it is allowed to be exposed by the doctors.

I am a 41 on year old male with 21 years with AIDS and HIV. My white count stays around 1.5. I have recently had three surgeries on my leg where a skin graft won't take due to serious infection(very painful) my AIDS doctor is giving me the strongest i.v. antibiotics. Do you have any advice for the infection and then is there a natural remedy that I could apply or something to either get it ready for a more hopeful graft r a miracle natural remedy to help the silver dollar size wound heal? I am rather healthy otherwise due to excellent nutrition and several natural supplements. harry jedlicka

Gwen, Not "ointment." It must be cream or liquid. Ointment causes the sutures to slip. Sorry Pankaj.
Because it is red and swollen, add homeopathic Echinacea to the mix. Infections with danger of blood poisoning.
Arnica and Ledum can be used together. Twice daily. Ledum also is good for Tetanus.
At noon give one dose of the homeopathic Echinacea. 3 days. Please keep posting.

I am a 41 yr male w/ 21 years with HIV and several years post a severe as always 11 years with AIDS. My white blod is critically low. I have a surgery thet needs a graft. Two grafts have been attempted and fail because of infection all due to low white ct. Is any cream or liq. slutions to help keep out infection and aid healing? Not sure conventional graft will ever work without help.

[apologies to Sabra] but Aids has long interested me , and I feel that there are resources to deal with your problem. I suggest you study Alfred Vogels Nature Doctor . There may be some help there .
Africa has shown what I have thought for a long time , That there are about 5% of humanity that is not susceptiblr to AIDS . Also that most of those who were going to succumb easily are dead some time ago,.
From a homeopathic point of view I think that the first thing yo try is a low potency Silica - say 3x about 3 times a day. Check back

my left leg,just below knee down to my toes, has infection (fluid)in it,
from a wound (maybe a spider bite).
i've had a antibiotic shot yesterday
and will receive one today. if my leg does not get better,in a few days,my m.d.,wants me in the hospital,to have antibiotics put in me through i v.
