Little white 'thingies' on the tip of the tounge
My 12 y/old daughter is getting white 'thingies' on her tounge. Her Dr. says she gets those also and there isn't a cure.
However i suspect after reading online it can be food related.
I hope it will be gone with her period when she gets it.
Is there anything you can recommend.
She has no allergies or anything else to report. We are blessed but his little thing is annoying very much.
Thanks

I am worry because my daughter is having a cold now and taking a medicine like Vick's and Tera-Flu.
Should i wait or it can be combined? Thanks
Clarewish last decade
Belladona is employed to treat fever with sweat, throat inflammations, and a lot of diseases and ailments.
If your daughter has a cold, you can give her one dosis of Belladona, and it will reduce the fever and the another symptoms of the cold.
In my opinion, it's better waiting for her recuperation. When she is well, then begin with this treatment for her tongue.
Best wishes

want to report.
I asked at Vitamine Shoppe and was told it is ok to take belladonna with her cold medicine as long as she waits for about 3 hours after her cold medicine taken.
So she took belladonna 3 times already and tounge does not hurt anymore but she developed some brown bump in place where white stuff was, maybe it is because she drinks herbal teas and it colored white into brownish?
But first thing is that tounge does not hurt so far.
She will continue.
But what is your suggestion for future and what do you think is this food relsted or infection or waht?
Thannks so much for your help.
Clarewish last decade
Browun bump may be caused by the tinctures of your herbal tea.
If your dougther have had an amelioration and the white stuff disspeared, if her tongue hurt again it's sure caused by an overdosis.
Stop Belladona and wait.
Later we speak about future, but please, don't worry.
Very best wishes

Can you send a photo of her tongue?
what's her tongue like now? brown spot or red spot? in the tip or in the root? Has she overcome the cold? Has she got any new symptom? Have dissapeared any old symptoms?
Best regards
Andrés

It is a still same white spot (seems like it moved a bit to the center of the tounge)but she bit few 'thingies' off.
We used Orejel yesterday to help her fall asleep
Same symptoms, all same old...
Cold is gone.
Should we try as you said morning belladonna for 3 days?
Clarewish last decade
If the tongue is red and clean, except the white spot, then try again with BELLADONA.
If the tongue is dirty, whitecoated and the spot is sore, then send me the photo and I'll value.
Best regards

Dear dr. Andres,
This case is known as Leukoplakia it is a part of cancer disease but some times it is harmless to the body. Some times it is danger also.
Your drug choice is very good. I hope that you are competent practioner having a good knowledge. The choice of drug is TARAXACUM OFF. 6c is the right drugs for this diseae . I request to Mr. Clarewish .please continue the same till getting relief. I have cured many cases by this medicine . it will take 1 year to 2 year for cure of this problem in some cases I got result in 3 month.. You have to leave all the bad habits.
Leukoplakia is a condition in which thickened, white patches form on your gums, on the inside of your cheeks and sometimes on your tongue. These patches can't easily be scraped off.
The cause of leukoplakia is unknown, but it's considered to result from chronic irritation. Tobacco, either smoked or chewed, is the main culprit, but irritation can also come from other sources, such as long-term alcohol use.
Leukoplakia is the most common of all chronic mouth lesions. Although anyone can develop leukoplakia, it's most common in older men. People with compromised immune systems sometimes develop an unusual form of the disorder called hairy leukoplakia.
In general, leukoplakia isn't painful, but the patches may be sensitive when you touch them or eat spicy foods. Although the disorder usually isn't dangerous, it can be serious. A small percentage of leukoplakic patches show early signs of cancer, and many cancers of the mouth occur next to areas of leukoplakia. For that reason, it's best to see your dentist if you have unusual changes in your mouth lasting longer than a week.
Sign & Symptom
Leukoplakia can have various appearances, but typically first appears as flat, gray or gray-white sores (plaques) ¡X usually on your gums or on the insides of your cheeks and sometimes on your tongue. Over weeks or months, leukoplakia can develop into patches with the following characteristics
X White color
X Thick, rough or wrinkled texture
X Hardened surface
Sometimes you may also have raised red lesions (erythroplakia), which are more likely to show precancerous changes.
A type of leukoplakia called hairy leukoplakia primarily affects people whose immune systems have been weakened by medications or disease, especially HIV or AIDS. Hairy leukoplakia causes fuzzy, white patches that resemble folds or ridges on the sides of your tongue. It's often mistaken for oral thrush ¡X an infection marked by creamy white patches on the area that extends from the back of your throat to the top of your esophagus (pharynx) and the insides of the cheeks. Oral thrush is also common in people with HIV/AIDS.
Cause
The cause of leukoplakia is unknown. Many possible causes have been linked to leukoplakia, including tobacco, long-term alcohol use and other chronic irritants. Though mechanical irritants, such as rough fillings or dentures, were once felt to be a cause of leukoplakia, they're no longer believed to lead to this condition.
Tobacco use appears to be responsible for most cases of leukoplakia. The vast majority of people who develop leukoplakia are smokers, and most leukoplakic patches either improve or disappear within a year after stopping smoking. Chewing tobacco and snuff also play a key role ¡X as many as three out of four regular users of 'smokeless tobacco' products eventually develop leukoplakia where they hold the tobacco against their cheeks.
Researchers also have identified both Candida albicans, the fungus that causes oral thrush, and human papillomavirus, the virus that causes genital warts, in leukoplakic patches. But it's not known whether these microorganisms occur as a secondary infection or actually cause leukoplakia.

She sees her dentist regularly and I am thinking it is a pre-menstrual outbreak but I am not a doctor.
Thanks for your input, we are seeing a dentist next week.
I hope you are wrong.
