11 year old depressed....
Good morning, I have an 11 year old that is what I would say depressed. He feels worthless and that he has no purpose in life. His new solution to solving his problems is running away. He is not doing well in school because he does not want to put any effort into his studies. Grounding and taking away favorite activiites has not helped. I desperatly need to help my son. Feels sad and useless. Does not put any effort into the things he needs to do in life and becomes overwhelmed when projects are not done on time (schoolwork). Has no ambition to push himself to succeed. Has long issue of abandonment from a father he has not seen since infancy. In the past two years has become depressive with one threat to harm himself. He states he feels worthless and that he has no purpose in life. Thinks people dont like him. Has anxiety in social situations with fear of failure. I did symptom finder and it suggested china officinalis. Should i go with that? Thanks for helping my son. Lisa
