Personally I do not really see that there are 'classical' and 'non-classical' methods when it comes to Homoeopathy, there is simply that which follows the basic principles laid down by Hahnemann, and that which after many years of careful experimentation and direct observation of this, he continually warned us against...the mongrel way.
That is the most 'classical' way.

Please take 3 doses of Nitric Acid 200C on a single day.
1 dose = 1 or 2 pills.
Space the doses by 2-3 hours.
Do not eat or brush teeth for 1 hr before and 1 hr after each dose. Avoid coffee if you can during treatment.
Then post your status after a week.

I'm here again. I see you finally reach a consensus. I'm very happy to see how different people from different places in the world join together to help people. Thank you very much.
I've been lucky and I've visited an homeopath for my inguinal hernia as Murthy recommended. He has prescribed a remedy. On Wednesday I visit surgeon and I think I would try first with remedy for my hernia, trying to avoid surgery. I don't want to interfere with your prescription. Thanks again for your time. When I finish with hernia's remedy I'll start with your prescription. Be sure I'll do.
I have this problem since 16 years ago, so I can wait a little more, but my hernia is since 1 month ago.
I'll keep you informed.
By the way Sammer, my wife has took Nat Mur 1M as you prescribed. In 3 weeks she will write you.

I don't know how you guys can see 'totality'....without taking into account his hernia.

Thank you Joaquin, and I must also state that until your mention above, I was not even aware of your recent Hernia. Had this been the case, the choice of first prescription may have been different, but we will see how you fare under CALC FLUOR.
I would also like to point out, for your own information, a list of mental symptoms taken from a text book is also no substitute for knowing the full personality of a remedy from first hand experience and observation, and such lists can paint very different pictures of a remedy, depending on the individual writer.
If you want to research the actual personality type of Nitric Acid for your own peace of mind, I would recommend reading a full personality profile, rather than just relying upon a few mental 'symptoms', although of course, your answers were more in the affirmative than the negative anyway...
Do let us know what happens.

Anyways, I hope you do get benefit from Calc Flour.
Also, Dr. Organon is very correct about seeing the full personality profile rather than a disjoint set of traits. Often, remedies are very diffcult to differentiate if you just look at the disjoint symptoms.

Dr. Organon, the first thing I did since Nit Ac could be prescribed was to read it in Materia Medica.

It is impossible to fit any medicine to a person. One can only find best fit. Please start the medicine to proceed further. I am not against a certain prescriber or a certain medicine but with my system I use my perception rather then analysis.

One more thing, if any of you think could reconsider the prescription of Nit Acid, please do it, I prefer so rather than take a wrong remedy.

Toning seems to be lacking in the muscle system in the abdomen. Quite likely to be pseudo-psora.

Indeed Sameer, and from the very beginning too, although I will admit I was somewhat torn between Syphilis and Tuberculosis until the news of the hernia. Both though of course could be present simultaneously, but this is not something seen TOO often, so it could just be the indications for Nit Ac which made me consider Syphilis.
I too am now thinking Silicea would have been the best first prescription had we known about the recent hernia, which of course has this tendency, as anyone with experience should know.
I must say I am also impressed with your knowledge of miasmatic theory, where did you learn this?
