Bacterial Vaginosis Misery

I've been fighting bacterial vaginosis for over 7 months now. I'm so red and sore I'm just miserable. None of the doctor prescribed antibiotics or creams get the job done. Nor did boric acid suppositories twice a day for 2 weeks. While searching the web for help I ran across this site and read some of the older posts about BV made by some members. They were discussing homeopathic treatment, giving numbers 6c, 30c, 200c. I'm very interested in this but don't have a clue what they were talking about. Does someone know and can explain it to me? or, has anyone found a treatment for BV that actually works? I desperately need help.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Besides BV do you have any other physical symptoms?

Are you more a chilly or a warm person? How do you take warm and cold weather?

Those numbers that you mentioned are potencies of homeopathic medicines. A remedy and its potency can only be selected properly for you once we have a clear picture of your symptoms and you as a whole.

I'm almost always cold. My feet and hands are always cold. Years ago, a nurse practitioner told me I have Raynaud's Phenomenon (or maybe it was the other Raynaud's--to my understanding there are two types or classifications of Raynaud's-- one has an underlying cause for the arteries constricting, like Lupus or diabetes, and the other one doesn't, it just happens.) Anyway, after some testing, we found that there is Not an underlying cause for me.
It can be 70 degrees outside and I'm cold.
As for other symptoms:
discharge--which has become very thick and sticky lately-usually whitish colored-there's not really
an odor.
itching--has developed recently-I think I've got a yeast infection from the last round of antibiotics-which made my awfully nauseous and dizzy, so I didn't finish them.
prickly feeling--very low in the vaginal area, feels like it's just barely inside me
redness of the outer area--there would be a little early on but would go away with the antibiotics then come back. After about 4 months I got really red and it's just stayed that way. Anything that comes out of me, discharge or creams or whatever(with the exception of urine), just plain hurt me. I think it just irritates whats alreadly irritated. I haven't found anything that helps. I've tried Vagisil, Desitin (for the zinc oxide), Resinol, Femmesil which has silver oxide. Nothing helps. Now I have a couple little bumps or blisters close to the opening. I've alreadly been tested for hepes and syphillus. Both were negative. So was the hepatitis, hiv, chlamydia, & gonorrehea. Twice. A funny thing happened: when I finished the boric acid suppositories, I was still very red and having a discharge. So after a couple days, I tried the Femmesil with the silver oxide for a couple days, even putting it inside. Nothing. It just made more discharge which made me hurt more. So I tried the Desitin. it sort of burned. Used it for a couple nights and decided to stop. The last time I used it was a Friday night. The following Sunday, I noticed I wasn't as red. Then came Monday, the day of my follow up visit with my Gyno. I was almost a normal pink! And I felt good. Doc said it was normal pink (it wasn't quite) and took a swab, but I had started my period that morning and she said that would make it hard to tell. When she came back from looking at it, she said it was gone.
WELL 2 DAYS LATER THE REDNESS WAS BACK. (I did not have sex in that time.) AND WITHIN A WEEK SO WAS THE DISCHARGE back!!!!!!!

I had been using a diaphram and spermicide for a couple of weeks when all this started. I immidiately stoped using them. I don't use any form of hormonal birth control. I had my tubes tied a couple months ago. Not that I've been able to have sex.

For the most part I'm a healthy person. Rarely getting sick. I don't seem to pick up all the things that go around like some people do.

Is there anyting else you need to know?

Oh, i almost forgot, I've tried the desitin again. No help. I've tried the silver oxide ointment again along with taking colloidal silver. No help there either. I've started taking Femdophilus . . . but I really don't know what I'm doing.

First, if you're still taking anything that you mentioned above it would be better if you suspend it for now. That will allow you to see results from homeopathic treatment more quickly and clear.

Please, take a single dose of Mercurius Solubilis 200C.

- A dose is 5 pellets completely dissolved in little water (about 10ml).
- Do not eat or drink at least 1 hour before or after taking the dose
- Do not brush your teeth 3 hours before or after
- If you can avoid coffee and stay away from products that contains camphor

By single dose I mean only one dose for only one day. Make sure that the water touches under your tongue before you swallow it. After taking it, wait and watch your symptoms for the next 7 days and report back as soon as you feel any difference.

Please do not repeat the remedy on your own, although you're getting an indication for free it's very important that you follow the directions in order to succeed on the treatment and that includes reporting back here the results so I can give you further instructions and adjust either your remedy or potency.
