i can understand that my hormones are becoming right by noticing the number and thickness of chin hair. hence am not going for scan or hormonal assays this time.
With sulphur 30c also i see much improvement. there are not much chin hairs and if some, they are thin and mostly invisible.
but there is burning eyes and vulva.
so am confused whether these could be because of the everyday vitamins and baby aspirin, i take. are there any homeopathic remedies for me, which go hand in hand with allopathic medicines ?

ok doctor, have taken a split dose of sulphur 30c and want to stop all allopathic medicines for 3 days and see the result.

Now the body heat is gone and am sweating as usual and my body becomes cool on its own.
But doctor, please clarify two doubts:
1) Are sour foods like lime, curd unacceptable while taking homeo medicines ? I can fairly understand now that my urinary burning is linked to eating sour foods / drinks. As such there is parental history of severe acidity and daily doses of antacid thrice a day - it is that severe a problem in my family. Do you think i am also intolerant to sour foods ? I like to drink lukewarm honey+lime juice thrice a day to improve my sedentary digestive system and this is also one way to reduce my compulsive tea drinking habit.
2) Another doubt is - Starting from next day after taking sulphur liquid dose, i get severe pain in the left hip and thigh joint - This happens when i am sleeping on my back or sides and I am unable to sit cross legged for meditation because of this pain. I remember i used to get this pain with some other homeo medicines also that i have been taking previously.
Is this just intestinal trapped gas or something more serious like my bones tearing my muscles - the pain is similar to this.

No food will affect the curative effect of a well prescribed homoeopathic remedy. The remedy would cure any sensitivity to that food.
Some things are not just food however, and have medicinal (drug) effects eg. coffee, chillies, tea, alcohol.
How long does the pain in the hip last after the dose? Do you still have it now?
If you get this pain from all remedies, then it is some weakness you have in that spot. It might be that Sulphur is still not a perfact match for you full set of problems.

Thanks Dr David, I now learn that tea can affect homeo medicine. So i should kick that habit of sipping cups of lukewarm tea - the only interesting thing in my life :(
My urinary burning starts right after my breakfast which includes lime juice or orange juice and there after lunch would contain curd and tomato. Sometimes even a piece of ginger is causing the same problem.
I have become so much afraid of eating any food now because of my urinary burning after every meal.
The pain on the left side join of hip and thigh bone starts about 7-8 hours after the dose and the pain is there only when i am lying down or when i sit cross legged. Pain is maximum on day1 and day2 and wanes on day 3 and then i take the next dose and the pain starts again.
Do you think i can take sulphur 30c split dose as the first thing 30 minutes after brushing my teeth and eat peacefully the rest of the day and also re-assess my pain after completely stopping tea for a week ?

The dose must not be correct if you get the same aggravation each time.
Take one more dose but we need to adjust it.

i am dissolving 2-4 pellets in a glass of mineral water -say about 200 ml of water.
I am unable to buy vodka or brandy. So making the split dose as above and taking 2 tsp of the same after stirring rapidly with spoon till the pellets dissolve. Remaining solution, i throw it away.
Today took thus as first thing in the morning and stopped folic acid supplement and all sour foods and ate only sweet foods (though i dont relish it as i would do with spicy and sour foods)and was completely away from urinary burning.

That is not the correct way to make the split dose.
The pellets need to be dissolved into a separate bottle, that bottle must be hit firmly against the palm of the hand twice, and that bottle is used to put 1 drop into 250mls of water (measured exactly each time), stirred then 1 teaspoon taken out of that.
Why can you not get alcohol?

You could be getting the same aggravation because the dose is not being altered (no hitting of the bottle between each dose, and the same water is not being used so that it remembers the number of hits). This needs to be done to avoid that problem you are having.

there are three reasons for not being able to/willing to buy alcohol:
1) my family is teetotaller and very orthodox and conservative about buying alcohol separately - actually we also dont know where to buy it from :(
2)What is the expiry date of such preparation ? i dont want to drink a putrefied medicine as it is just not pure alcohol (as in dry pills, which do not expire), but 5 parts of water mixed to alcohol ?
3) considering above two limitation, i started reading other methods of preparing liquid dose in this forum, and hence tried in that way.
but if u insist using alcohol and also tell what is the shelf life of such preparation, i can ask for alcohol from homeo shop itself.

Are you able to buy medicinal alcohol (ethanol)?
The alcohol will preserve the water for many months. Much longer than you will need to use it.
Without alcohol the water will eventually revert to its previous state (become non-medicinal).
However the bottle containing the remedy must be succussed (hit) - that is the most important thing. Without that there will be unneccessary aggravations and there may be a lack of progress. The pills cannot be altered, they are stuck at one potency level and when used repeatedly can produce aggravation.

ok thanks for the word - will ask for 'medicinal alcohol' and will try the remedy as u had explained,because i am getting to see some improvement with sulphur 30c.

while searching the site for various food allergies in adults, came across this post and want to draw your attention to it as i seem to suffer similarly.

all these years i was thinking that various homeopathic and allopathic medicines are causing this burning / UTI like problem. Never even in my dreams after suffering unknowingly all these 4 odd years, I thought i have become allergic to some foods. after clearly noticing my behaviour upon eating different types of food, even i have noticed that i suffer like the patient above upon eating spicy food, black pepper, ginger, lemon, curd, sour foods etc.
No problem with sweet or bitter food at all.
I do not know about my reaction to alcohol and vinegar though. If am allergic to alcohol, how can i take homeo medicines ?
anyways have taken spilt dose of sulphur 30c after making remedy with ethanol as per your prescription.
I am still not sure about the full list of foods that i have become allergic to.
Please help reset my vital force to normalcy as i was 4 years ago happily eating all types of food.

i took sulphur 30c from the stock bottle on 6/8/11.
when should i take it again ?
there is no left side pain, but urinary burning after eating any food it still there.

dr david, moving my post up just in case your missed it

all these days i was confused with my disease and did not know why it is happening because allopathic drs were not able to detect it.
since the burning is present throughout i stopped all medicines and read myself.
since i have the habit of driniking lime juice, i noticed that mornings the burning started immediately after taking lime juice and it stayed on throughtout the day as i would anyways be eating salt and spicy food anyways.
so i think i am also having food allergy.
should i continue with sulphur or are you suggesting some other medicine for my food allergy.

If you still have symptoms then yes take another dose.
Have you been able to make up a dosing bottle, with the mixture of alcohol and water?

then after seeing that alcohol also can be allergic to some, i became apprehensive.
but now i realize that i have to try each and every food and drink and understand allergic reactions specific to me.
The post enlightened me as to what all can be culprits -i never ever never ever doubted my foods - because they are all simple and vegetarian. exception is compulsive tea drinking habit but balanced with equal amounts of lime water.
All these years I was thinking that i am allergic to all allopathic and certain homeopathic drugs because they have been part of my daily life.
