Please suggest me remedy
I have undergone a pathological test for Thyroid, Serum Uric Acid Blood Urea, Serum Creatinine. In the Thyroid test, Total T3 was found 24 against reference value 70-170, Total T4 was found 1.6 against reference value 5.2-12.5 and TSH was found (very high) 221.7 against the reference value 0.4-6.0. The Pathologist has opined, 'the levels of Thyroid Hormone (t3 & T4) are low in case of Primary, Secondary and tertiary hypothyrodism and sometimes in nonthyroidial illness also. TSH levels are raised in primary hypothyrodism'.My feet are swollen for around last one or one and half months. Ankles pain. Doctor detected low blood pressure and suggested me allopathy medicines Eltroxin, Ditide and Sumo which I don't want to take.
I have lived on homeopathy and now I am 30 year old with a 3-year old baby.
Please someone suggest me some homeopathy medicines because I believe there is no permanent cure of hypothyroidism in allopathy.
Help me see some way out here.

Thank you for giving a response.
There has been swelling in my feet for about one and half months and pain especially in ankles either. I have been uncomfortable in walking, feeling heaviness, especially in my feet and stomach.
About 20 ago, I noticed swelling in my face either. This continues to be like that and it is quite visible under my eyes. Heaviness in feet meanwhile also spread towards knees making me feel more uncomfortable, although the swelling in feet did not spread towards knees.
Date of my periods (menstruation) also crossed. Its been 10 days now.
I have been feeling extreme weak. Earlier I felt dizziness several times. I feel unusual increase in my heart-beat and speed of breathing while climbing stairs and walking.
My husband then suspected it either to be a case of Thyroidism or some problem with Uric acid and blood urea before we finally decided to go for a check up to confirm it.
And, the medical test detected hypothyroid. I was also found having low-blood pressure (90/60).
Can you suggest me any homeopathy medicine for its cure. I am very much terrified because I have heard, this disease is incurable.
No one in my family ever suffered from this problem. I don't want to take allopathy medicine. It doesn't suit me.

Your understanding about my problem is correct.
One thing is missing that I have low blood pressure also as detected by doctor.
And now, let me answer all of your questions in the same order you have asked me.
(1) Thirst- want to drink water so much.
2)Hunger- I feel like eating something or other, although i do not do it and have maintained my routine diet.
3) I like sweet things but have cravings for 'salty and spicy' food.
4)Sweat excessively- in palms and face but its not after my problems started. Its been since long even before I got married in 2005.
5) I feel terrible coldness in my hand and feet. Even in this summer, I can not stand on wet floor and take one bed-sheet to cover my legs. Winter was terrible for me.
6) Sleep- very deep & stubborn and struggle hard to remain awake in day time.
7) Aloof. Cut off from society, family members and friends. Like to live alone.
8)I don't like getting engaged in backbiting and useless chit chat like other women. I am totally committee and confined to my family affairs. I am also highly inclined towards spirituality.
9) I have too much fear and anxiety. If I have to start cooking food in evening, it will start hunting me much before the actual time. If someone is to come home, it makes me restless to think what will happen if i could not know that he came and knocked the door. And the things like that.
10) I like hot weather and warm things. But, I can not refrain myself from taking cold drinks (not chilled).
11)I was fun frolic, a boyish kind of girl with no fear, no tear.
12) After marriage, I underwent unprecedented ( for me)emotional, mental or physical stress because of bitter relationship between my in-laws and husband. Me and my husband had to suffer a lot and finally we had to move out for peace. I got married in 2005.
13) I was employed before I got married. I could not continue my job because of marriage and a year later I got a son. Now I want to continue. But, my self confidence has gone completely down. I do not enjoy meeting people always. what I really used to enjoy before marriage

One more thing I must let you know that I have started Eltroxin (50 mg) and 1/2 tab of ditide (allopathy medicines) following the doctor's advice as my condition had gone out of control.
I started it only two days ago and swellings in my feet are decreasing but i do not want to continue it because I know it does not have a permanent solution. I just started it for immediate relief.
Doctor also suggested me to take Sumo tabs but I am not taking because its a pain killer.
Should i continue it with the medicine you have suggested or discontinue it immediately.
I will go by your advice. I have full trust in you.

Thanks for expressing your faith but lets keep the finger crossed as it is too early .But one reassurance i can give u , that u will benefit by coming to this forum as there are many good prescribers here with the best being Mr Sameer Vermani . So u will get something out of this forum .
Since u are in Delhi , please walk in to nearest homeo store in your locality or nearby area and if not available ask him to arrange for it ( or as a last resort Dr Reckewegs main distributor is in Darya Ganj in delhi , u can check the exact address on net ) .
Once u get it then inform so that dosing method can be discussed .At that point u can discontinue eltroxin for a while to assess the impact of homeopathic remedy . I hope that can be managed .

Its Sunday today. So I will start looking for medicine from tomorrow. I will have to find a medicine shop nearby since I am very new to this city. That's not a problem, but it may take some time, I guess. This city is horrible.

i must say that your friend is an inteliigent person , good to have such friends around .
first are u prepared to forgo your eltroxin for at least a week or ten days .
I hope that can be managed .
If yes then do the following
Lycopodium is a deep acting remedy , it is to be taken once and its action lasts 30 to 40 days . Hence i repeat it is to be taken once . If this is the right medicine then some effect howsoever small or significant will be noticed in first few days .
In case this does not turn out to be the right remedy no change will be observed but we have to wait at least for a week before we come to a conclusion .
You will have to strictly avoid coffee , perfumes /body sprays at least for initial 20 days after taking the medicine . Even if it is difficult this has to be followed .No flexibilty around this for at least the first 20 days otherwise the action of the medicine will get masked .
Pour 2 drops of liquid of Lycopodium in a 250 ml spring water bottle.
Please note that spring water is not same as Bisleri , Aquafina etc . it is different and you can get from a good grocery state or a good chemist .
Once u pour the drops in the bottle , shake it very gently so that the drops mix uniformly
Take a capful from this bottle 3 times in one day, spaced by 45 minutes .
This is to be done for one day ONLY. No repetition of the medicine .
Restrictions:
1/. Nothing should enter the mouth for 40 minutes prior to, or after taking the remedy.
2/. Do not touch the tablets with your hands ( not applicable as u have medicine in liquid form ) , tip them into the cap of the container they came in and then into the water .
3/. Avoid coffee, tea (including green), and other sources of caffeine such as some fizzy drinks and large amounts of chocolate.
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT .
4/. Avoid wearing perfume/aftershave, or exposure to anything with a strong smell while under treatment. This includes any and all essential oils, and incense.

5/. Avoid the consumption of excessively spicey foods

Does spring water have any other name which is used by people locally ?? I searched it at a many drug shop including some homeopathy medicine shop, but could not get. They say they did not ever hear about it.
Please let me know, if it is known by some other name or suggest me some other method to take my medicine.
I am ready to leave Eltroxin to see the effect of Lycopodium.
After all, I need a permanent cure !!!

Spring water is basically pure natural mineral water untouched , untreated and without pesticides and sourced from Himalayan Springs .
It is available by the Brand name Himalaya and some other brand names as well .
You go to an upmarket Grocery store or a good mall or a good chemist shop and ask for it by telling them u want pure mineral water , u should get it .
It is available at many places in delhi even at kiraana dukaan .

I took the medicine today as you suggested as finally I got the spring water. And, I have left Eltroxin since yesterday itself.
Ditide tabs, which doctor had suggested me to take for 15 days, got already over two days ago.
After this Ditide was discontinued, I am noticing a little swelling again in my feet. I am also experiencing pain in my lower part of both legs including feet. I experience intense restlessness with pain while sleeping.
Please help me get rid of all these troubles.

I can understand the discomfort and pain , but please give the homeopathic remedy some days to work .
U had to take homeopathic remedy for one day only . Do not repeat it .
During this time avoid any other medicine , tea , coffee and body sprays .
What is this medicine Ditide for , is its course of 15 days over or u need to take them again .

I don't know what was ditide for. But, I believe that this medicine helped reducing swelling very fast and since the prescribed period of 15 days are over, i do not need to take it again.
There was one more thing, I forgot to tell you.
You know I did never have cracks in my leg soles before marriage. After I conceived my baby, it started appearing. initially I believed that it's happening because I used to work in water bare foot at home.
But, recently when I strated taking Ditide, I found this crack disappearing. In fact it completely disappeared in those 15-days ditide intake. But, it is once again coming up. Does it indicate that I had some problem in Thyroid since the days I was pregnant?

I checked on Ditide , it is basically for reducing High Blood Pressure .
U had mentioned that u had low blood pressure .Hence it is strange that u were given High BP medicine .
I am not sure if Thyroid problem has a relation with the problems of yor soles /

It seems my condition has a little improved. There is no pain in legs till today after I took Lyco.
But, there is some swelling around ankles. It is neither increasing nor decreasing.

It is good that Lycopodium has shown some action . We will wait and watch .
It is however difficult to visualize u as someone who is sad and very disturbed by the events that happened .
Inlaws in India are a problem and in almost 90 % of the households this problem is there . Hence u should not feel miserable if they illtreated u and abused u . This happens often here .
U are too young to feel so low . Please be once again the chirpy and bubbly girl that u were before marriage .
Most importantly , forgive those ' Kharoos' inlaws who through their immaturity nd old mode of thinking misbehaved .
Now u are in delhi , this city is so exciting and youthful . enjoy it .
U can pour your heart out on this forum .
Coming back to the replies that u have given , there is one medicine that seems to be indicated which is Natrum Mur . But we will come back to that later .
So promise that u will be good and happy girl and do not worry too much about the past.
