Dr. Sameer, my daughter is itchy, please take this case Page 2 of 5

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Dear Dr. Sameer,
Updating after 2 weeks after Lachesis was given.
First 2 days she had slight fever 99-100, but it went away without giving tylenol.
Her mind is pretty much same, I did't see any change, behavior is also same as before. She is mostly happy, wants to make her own decisions. Just one thing different that she has been biting or pinching a little bit to us not a lot. One day she was hitting us when she was not allowed to do one thing, since then she has been hitting a little bit on & off, but stops when we tell her too. Its very little and not that bothersome.
Her skin -
red sensitiveness is gone, and she is not saying no for showers any more. Skin peeling has almost stopped too. She still has small pimples just 4-5 all over her body, they keep gping away and pop-up at new locations. Her face gets red sometimes. Her itchiness is same, she still gets up 3-4 times a night because of itch and I put lotion on her 2-3 times during the day. Wounds on her wrists, elbows, inside of elbows and inside on knees are better than before, smaller in size and less deep. She itches but stops before it bleeds, it was just once or twice with very little blood.
Her constipation is also the same, as before she still has fear to pass stools.

Let me know if you have questions.

Thank you so much.

Why is she afraid to pass stools ?

Also, any other fears that she has ?

How does she respond to change ?

Dear Dr. Sameer,
Answering the questions that you asked -
Why is she afraid to pass stools ?
Her stools have always been hard, and the toilet also gets blocked. Its painful for her to pass, and she goes once in 3-4 days. I think because of teh pain, she developed the fear to pass. Today she went after one day gap without holding. This has not happend beofre in a long time, its just once so I am not sure if its Lachesis effect or not, to early to decide i guess.

Also, any other fears that she has ?
She has fear to go down the slide. After climbing 2-3 steps she would be scared. I think she has fear of heights too. But she is fine on other kiddie rides, infact she enjoys them. Enjoys the swing also. She was a late walker, i mentioned that earlier, that she started walking at 18 months of age, and she is almost 4, but looks like a 2 & 1/2 yrs old. She is petite.
She also has fear of cracks that come while walking, e.g a little gap (1/2cm) between two big tiles.
Also little afraid of small bugs like spiders, ladybugs, flies etc.

How does she respond to change ?
When she moved to next room in her school with new teachers and new kids, it was very hard for her in the beginning. She needed lots of encouragement to be involved in daily activities. That was almost 8 months ago.
Other than that I haven't seen much problem, or may be there's not been any big change lately.
Her itchy is same, but i definitely see some clarity in her skin. I think her itchy is related to the food, specially the outside snacks that she eats.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks for your time and efforts.

Let us wait for 1 more week.

Dear Dr. Sameer,

Hope you are doing great. Here's the update of this week.
constipation- a big, positive change, she went 5 days out of last 7 days, earlier it was twice a week. She always said herself that she wants to go. Stools are still hard but smaller than before. It looks like few small balls joined together. First 2 weeks her stomach was looking way bigger but this week that also got so much better.
Mental- She was happy mostly as usual. Earlier she used to be very sensitive, e.g as soon as she will realize that I am slightly upset at her, she would go to Dad. Now I think she is not very sensitive and can handle it little better.
Bad smell of skin is completely gone.
Another very big change, from last 2 weeks in her new swimming class with a new male teacher, she just wouldn't do anything, but this week she did everything, that change looked miraculous.
Skin-
Her itchiness is almost same. Though a couple of days I found her itching less than before, but that didn't last so long. Sometimes I feel it has become her habit to itch. Her face has been very red & warm mostly. Today evening we went out for dinner and she was rolling over on the carpet with her friends, within 10 mins her face was all red again, and she couldn't stop itching all over her body. When her face gets dark red, it gets better with Aquaphor. When she feels the urge to itch her body is very warm then.
Thickness around her neck is all gone, skin feels almost normal there, but the color is dark bluish. Her elbows are still thick-skinned but better than before. Her skin on lower back above hips is bluish too, earlier it used to be dark blackish. Same bluish color is also behind her knees and elbows too.
All over her skin, she has few small round(size of pores) red wounds from her scracthing. Her skin is still grainy but lesser & softer than before.
Motor Skills -
she lags behind in her motor skills. I didn't mention this before, but she mostly complains about pain in her legs, knees or feet when we go out for walks, and asks her to be carried in lap.

Let me know if you have questions.

Thanks for reading.

Dear Dr. Sameer,

Wanted to add one more thing that she has been waking up only once in the night from last 3 days. Earlier it was 3-4 times a night.

I'll update again after a week.

When you have time I want to start a thread for my another daughter too, let me know if that's ok with you.

Thanks a lot.

Dear Dr. Sameer,

This week she woke up twice during the night, one day she ate a cup-cake, and she was itching very badly after it i had to give claritin once.
She passed stools 6 days out of 7, stool are still hard, and look like balls joined together. She is going now without any fear, and goes during evening almost every day, one evening we were out, that was the only day she missed.
She keeps getting small boils on her skin, but they break because of her itch.
Mentally she was mostly happy. As usual she was adamant about her clothes. She must like the clothes she wears, otherwise she says I am not looking pretty. She is still not comfortable in crowds, maximum one or 2 friends at a time are fine, no more than that. She sticks with me if there are more.
Her skin pores are still raised over her skin, even on the fingers it's clearly visible. Her lower back, wrists, neck, behind the knees and elbows, are still bluish but lighter than before I believe. Her knees and behind her thighs were breaking a little more than before.

Thanks for reading, let me know if you have questions.

I also have been noticing one different behavior in her. Sometimes she just lies on her tummy, with hands under her head, chest little high not touching the ground, and she keeps shaking her body little bit back & forth, she does it on bed, sofa, and on floor. To do that, she would just go in the middle of playing, do that for a a minute or 2, and then would start playing again.
She still doesn't like to wear anything tight around her tummy, around neck its fine.

You can give her a dose of Lachesis 200c.

Dissolve 2 pellets in 250 ml spring water, and give her a teaspoon from there ONCE. Nothing should enter the mouth 1 hr before and 1 hr after the dose.

Talk to me 2 weeks after this dose.

sameervermani last decade
Dear Dr. Sameer,

Thanks for the quick response. Can I give her the dose before bed?
I also thought Lachesis is the right remedy for her, except one confusion I had about moving her body back & forth with her chest raised. I found that little strange. Can I have your opinion on it if its related to the remedy, if you don't mind?

I appreciate your help.
Thanks.
Pooja

to_be_cured last decade
Well, since everything else improved in her behavior, I do not think this is related to the remedy.

You can give the remedy before night time if you wish to do so.

Dear Dr. Sameer,

I got Lachesis 200ck, Bioron brand today. Is 'ck' same as 'c' potency?
After dissolving 2 pellets in to water, and giving ger a teaspoon, what should I do with the rest of the water?

Thanks.
Pooja

Throw the rest away.

ck is fine.

sameervermani last decade
Dear Dr. Sameer,

I gave my daughter Lachesis 200ck in 250 ml water, 1 teaspoon out of it on oct 5th before bed time. Here's teh update -

her mind -
first week she was crying on every little thing. She was also being very authoritative, e.g wouldn't want to wear the clothes we chose for her, even though she liked them, also would want to use the same bathroom as someone else is using, we have 3 bathrooms, and she would insist us to get out, and then after using she would say now I want to wash hands in some other bathroom. On unnecessary reasons she wanted to implement her own decisions. It was very hard for us, and we wouldn't follow she would cry like anything. She has been putting things in her mouth a lot lately, her shirt sleeves, blankets, anything she grabs goes in mouth, it wasn't like that before. She also didn't go to the swimming pool where she had been going for swimming in last 2 classes so nicely. She didn't even sit in the class with other kids.

During second week things improved a little, she went to swimming class, got better in crying on every little thing, but rest of the things are still same. She is happy if things are done her way. But because she was making unnecessary demands that effected her happiness a bit, because we didn't do it all the time.

Her skin- She has been itching a lot more than before. Nights are very tough. First week it started to smell again, but that reduced in 2nd week. Her wrists and hands have become worse, pores are showing even more, and feel grainy, colors are red & blue. Her back is black & blue. Her skin has become dry & rough than before.

Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks always.

Hi Pooja,

This sounds like an aggravation, and I think we should wait for 10 more days.

I expect things to calm down by then.

sameervermani last decade
Dear Dr. Sameer,
Hope you are doing great.

Last 10 days....

She is getting up 4-5 times a night, and stays up for half an hour to an hour, and itches uncontrollably. Even the same creams/lotions are not giving her any quick relief. During day time also she has been doing a lot more, and that has been affecting her mood to be more irritable. We have turned the heat on as it has started to get cold here, and the heat is making her itchy worse. She has been itching until it starts to bleed. Her skin gets red, and wounded. her thighs from back side have become scaly/red/blue. its cracking behind the knees.
On tummy & back, her pores are not as grainy as before, but she itches on her stomach badly, and it sounds hollow & loud when she itches her stomach.
Last week she got sick, fever up to 101, cough & cold. I gave her motrin, and Boiron chestal honey. Her wheezing was very bad, it was very loud, and breathing was hard. I had to give her nebulizer with albuterol. She used to get wheezing before with cold/cough/fever but never this bad.
She is constipated again, she has not been going everyday now. Its once in 3 days.
Her mood is not very good, cries a lot on every little thing, also being very stubborn and autoritative. She has been so irritable, but any one would be with this kind of skin condition.

Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks.
Pooja

Forgot to add that her cheeks are always red, warm, and she itches there too.

Dear Dr. Sameer,

Her skin has been peeling a lot, and getting very sensitive. On her cheeks I am seeing some watery discharge sometimes. I was thinking may be she gets that on her body too, but I never saw that because clothes absorb it, just a guess, not sure.
While bathing she cries that it hurts. I think she is getting at the same stage as she was after sulphur 200c, and that was when I started this thread.
Thanks, and appreciate all your help.

Dear Dr. Sameer,

Just bumping it up, in case you missed it.

Her situation is worse right now, always crying and always changing the things that we choose for her, like clothes, cups, plates, bathroom, food, just everything.
Her skin is worse too, specially the face.

Please respond when you get to look at this.

Thanks always.
Pooja.

Hi Pooja,

Please give her 3 doses of Calcarea Carb 30c and report after 10 days.

Thanks Sameer.
I got Calcarea Carb 30C, should I give pellets? or should I dissolve them in water, and give teaspoon water to her?

Thanks
Pooja

Dissolve in water, and give a teaspoon 3 times.

Dear Dr. Sameer,

Here's teh update after 2 weeks of cal-c30c.

Her itchy/eczema is same as before. Her cheeks have gone worse. Beofre I started homeopathy for her she had 2 small patches on her cheeks, but now her full face is red, flared up and peeling skin. Since yesterday I am seeing slight swelling on her face too.
There has been some bad smell from her skin too in the morning when she wakes up from bed, its more around her neck.
I read about cal-c, and it meets most of the characetistics about her except the overweight part.

Thanks always.
Pooja.

How does she feel mentally ? Any improvements in behaviour since the Calc doses ?

sameervermani last decade
Dear Dr. Sameer,

Thanks for the quick response.

Its hard to say as it had not been so easy for her last 2 weeks. She was sick last week for 4 days. She had fever and fast breathing, her feet were cold and greenish blue. Few times she complained about having pins and needles in her feet.
Today she has fever again upto 102. I have given her motrin whenever needed.
While going thru all this, and itchy all over her body that its so hard to sleep thru the night, it won't be so easy for anyone to have a happy and calm mindset.
I can say her mindset is better since she took calc in comparison with Lachesis 200c.

I hope and pray for her that she feels better soon. Its hard to see such a little girl going thru so much.

Let me know if you need more info.
Thanks.
