Dear sir,My wife has fever with whole body pains.head ache.chill with sometimes sweating.some drycough.giddiness.she is in periods now.I gave her bryonia 200c one dose as if now.Please advice on her condition as soon as possible.

In next three hours see if Bryonia is working...if not then give Gels 200 ..three doses in a gaps of half hour each.
With in 1 / 2 hours of giving the med...it should show result.
Pl. note...there is no established drug relationship between Bryonia and Gels...so you can give Gels.
(It is neither anti-dotal nor inimical).

Please do this:
If she prefers fan (feels warm): Aconite 30 and Bryonia 30 alternately, every 2 to 4 hours based on severity.
If she doesn't prever fan or wants to cover:
Aconite 30 and Rhus Tox 30 alternately, similar to above
This has been a dependable clinical approach, esp if limited symptom are available
Ocassionally, you may have to give some allopathic medicine along with this to reduce Fever.
Optional: Epsom Salt Feet bath (1:16 dilution by volume), every few hours helps to relieve fever faster.
Please do not hesiate to use Gelsemium, esp for Headache, per Pankaj advice. 30 should be better than 200.

As if now she says if she is sweating she wants to uncover the blanket and it she feels chill she wants to cover.Fever goes and comes.Whole body pains.Head ache.She says that these are Chicken Guniya symptoms.Pls advice.

The custom of alternating Aconite and Belladonna in inflammatory affections, which so widely prevails is a senseless one. Both remedies cannot be indicated at a time, and if a good effect follows their administration you may be sure that the indicated one cured in spite of the action of the other, which only hindered; or that the patient recovered without help from either. There are many cases of this kind where the doctor is congratulating himself on a cure which was only a recovery, for which he deserves no credit at all. Let us look for a moment at some of the diagnostic differences of these two remedies.
Both have great heat of the skin, but Aconite has characteristically dry, hot skin and no sweat; Belladonna has even greater surface heat, but sweats on covered parts.
Aconite tosses about in agony with great fear of death; Belladonna often has semi-stupor and jerks and twitches in sleep. Aconite has great distress in heart and chest; Belladonna everything seems to centre in the head. Aconite fears death without much delirium; Belladonna fears imaginary things, with delirium. Thus we might continue to give points of difference. No man who understands the homopathic art of healing will ever alternate these two remedies.

The same logic applies to any alternations. If a change of medicine is required that should be based on the changed symptoms.
Routine alternations as suggested above doesn't help at all. If at all there is improvement it is not due to these alternations, but as Nash aptly put it

There are no medicines for diseases in Homeopathy. The treatment is for the patient alone - clinical or otherwise.
Based on the symptom: alternating chills, I would suggest China.
Think Eup Perf only if there are bone related pains as if bones are getting crushed.

When there is fever plus aching in the body, three meds are to be thought about:
1. Gelesemium (a flu remedy)
2. Eupatorium Perf
and
3. Rhus Tox
China is a remedy where there are symptoms of Malarial fever.
