Low Appetite and frequent Indigestion

I am working in a reputed Comupter Company and I have indigestion and low appetite problem from many months. Taken Enzymes Syrup and other medicines but it doesnot help. If I have coffee or tea at about 4-4:30pm then I dont feel like having anything. Even nighttimes (dinner) I dont feel like having it. My motion is normal. Sometimes during busy hours I dont go home for lunch but I have it outside (hotels) that day my problem increases. My age is 32 and I have little bit of asthma. I have dry wheezing only during night. As soon as I go to sleep I will have wheezing problem. I regularly use Asthalin Inhaler (100mg).
Is there any medicine for these problems. Help me out

Hi Ravi,

You can get good results from homoeopathy. It can help your problem of indigestion , as well as asthma.

Since these problems are comparitively chronic, we will have to study your case in details to find out the correct remedy for you. This is called as constitutional treatment.

Here is a questionnaire. Please try to answer all the questions applicable to you.
This is the correct way of handling such a case , and there is no shortcut.

Take care....

Thanks Magicure

My nature is very much sensitive. I get hurt very fast about someone’s bad nature or bad behavior. I get sad if I see someone in pain or in trouble. I do care a lot about my family and other people.

My indigestion means, that I don’t feel like having food. Sometimes if I have little more than I will have indigestion. I feel like full stomach.
Vomiting sensation and by 1-2 hours I develop gas. Sometimes burning sensation in my stomach. My stool is normal but sometimes it is had and very little. Sometimes during busy office hours I cannot go home for lunch then I do have food in hotels. Even if I take a single dosa etc. Till evening I will be alright but after about 3-4 hours I get headache and burning sensation in my stomach. That time I drink water but during night dinner I don’t feel like having anything. Sometimes I feel very sad when my friends eat a lot in hotels and nothing happens to them. Regularly I have coffee or tea at about 4-5 pm from hotel. Now I want to stop that also becz I have same problem as I have told u earlier.

Whenever I have indigestion there will be think (brownish-white) coating.

I don’t sweat too much but I do becz I am living in Mangalore (Coastal Karnataka) and people sweat here. It is always more in head.
I drink water little less may be about 750ml –1000ml per day. I know it is less but I don’t feel thirty.

I am a straightforward person and I believe in team. I have conducted lots of seminars about team building and effective leadership. I do conduct seminars for various colleges and schools about I.T. technologies and trends.

Hi Ravi,

I am extremely sorry for the delay in reply. I was a bit busy for the last few days.

I have gone through your case , but unfortunately havent reached to a conclusion yet. Could you please answer a few questions:

1. If you dont use Asthalin , what makes you feel better once you start suffering from breathlessness? ( sitting in the bed/ bending forwards/ walking etc...)

2.Also, how do cold drinks and ice creams bother you? ( indigestion? gas? catch cold?....)

Nux covers many of your symptoms related to indigestion, but there are also a few more drugs like Arsenic (covers asthma) which need to be considered.

Please respond and then we will start with the treatment.

Take care...

Hi Thanks

1. No once I get breathlessness I have to use Asthalin otherwise it will become more. Sometimes walking will reduce a little bit but no relief.

2.If I use cold items I get cold and sometimes breathlessness.

For last two days I had again indegestion and this time it was more. I did not take any food in morning and afternoon. I had headache and vomitting sensation. I took PARAMET and AVOMINE tablet for that (Doctor gave me that) but still stomoach fullness is still there. I dont feel like having anything today.

Sometimes I feel jealous when I see someone eating too much or having masala dosas etc etc Even I feel like having them but I am afraid of my stomoach.

Thank you very much
- Ravi

Hi Ravi,

Take Nux Vomica 200, 5-6 pills on clean tongue at bedtime for three consecutive nights. Do not eat/ drink anything atleast for half an hour before and after taking the pills.

This should help your indigestion.

We might have to take a step wise approach in your treatment, so you might need a group of remedies.

Keep posting about your condition, and take care...

Thanks Magicure

I am very sorry that I didn't post my reply.

I have taken the medicine for three days and till today I didn't have indigestion. But some times I do get stomoach fullness and it will be more during nights. I feel as if there is lots of gas inside my stomoach.

My asthama is little more, I do take asthalin twice during nights. One at the time of going to bed and one when i get up in middle of night.

Waiting for your mail

To Ravi Bhat

I came across your post which goes back to early March and note that Magicure has not responded to your last post which is dated April 2.

You state that you have fullness in your stomach especially at night and that you also suffer from Asthma.

The remedy for your gastric problem is Nat Phos 6x (biochemic) and the dose is 2 tablets taken after lunch and dinner. I believe that this should settle your stomach in 15 minutes after you take your first dose.

Your Asthma is a little more complicated and the remedy that I use is Nat Sulph 6c taken in the Split Dose which is detailed below. Please note that it is essential that you follow the instructions to the letter.

If you are not clear about anything please do not hesitate to ask.

Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from your nearest supermarket.
Drop in 3 pellets or 1 drop of liquid Nat Sulph 6c into the water
Cap the bottle tightly and succuss it 4-6 times by shaking the bottle in your hand to aerate the water.
Pour out 1 teaspoonful of the potentized remedy into half a cup of water from another bottle of the same water and stir it gently.
Sip 1 teaspoonful of the water from the cup just once daily.

You will have to stop all other medication if you wish to start on this therapy.

This remedy should be taken daily for some time in the future and you may like to know that I have many instances of adults who were chronic sufferers from Asthma for many years who do not use the remedy any more after about 4 months on this therapy. Others who were not so chronic react favourably in a few days and only use the remedy if and when necessary.

The remedy that I have used when the patient is having an acute attack and is straining for breath is Ars Alb 200c. This remedy is taken dry and just 4 globules will suffice for a dose which may only be taken just once daily when the patient is gasping for breath. This usually clears the lungs and opens up the airways in under 20 minutes.

Report response in a week.

It would have been better for you to have started a new thread instead of posting on this thread as you would have got more attention.

I believe that I can help you to overcome your problem which I believe is due to your stomach not emptying due to some reason which we will have to figure out.

Please answer the following questions to enable me to get more data on your ailment.

Does your stomach feel full after a meal ?
If so for how long have you suffered from this condition ?
What medication have you been taking for your ailment ?
How long after a meal do you feel sick and vomitish?
You have listed many Homeopathic remedies that someone has given you. Did they give you any relief ?

I shall indicate the remedy after I receive your reply to the questions above.
