calcium sulphide is calc sulph. It is a very good tissue salt. But other constituents of the combo remedy should have interfered with it's action. Sulphur is the deepest acting anti-miasmatic remedy. So these two are not comparable though both have sulph in their name.

So, I took only 4 pellets not 6, that is correct??

Also, why do we just take for 1 day only and wait 10 days instead of just taking each and every day?? What am I supposed to be looking for, and can I tell in just 1 day of taking??
**A homeo remedy is a stimulation to the vital force. The cure is effected by the vital force and only the stimulation is offered by the remedy. Sulphur acts for a long duration so it will offer stimulation to the vital force for a long time. So now you should wait for 15 days and report back everything that you notice.

i give you result oriented treatment for your son's acne : start with R 53 & BC 20 OF DR RECKEWEG'S.
R53 15 drops with 2 tsf of water three times a day, R 20 5 tabs three times a day with luke warm water,
wash the face 5-6 times / day with neem face wash.
drink beet root juice daily in morning first thing on empty stomach.
never touch or break acne.
this are few things more latter on.
if you wish to do follow cure is for sure.

You have to stay on Sulphur until you son has improvement.

As hormones mainly responsible for acne, you both have to take homoeopathic medicines for rather long period of time, but frequency of dose would be decreased more.

If sulphur stop to respond then Calcarea Carb and then Silicea Should complete the cure.

actually want to say you both have to be patient regarding this.

I can see that not one of you, and this includes the classical homeopaths and the patients, have bothered to read the advice in my post above on the Joepathy that I have used successfully in hundreds of similar cases which have been CURED usually in 3-4 days.

In the meanwhile the 16 year old boy still suffers from his Acne and his mother seems to be getting fed up with the therapy that was prescribed, as it did not cure her son in 10 days. I also note that he has been prescribed some other remedy 'Natures Cure' for some 6 weeks prior to the Sulphur and that it too did not help the boy.

I note that Sulphur 30 in the Dry dose pellets is bring used by the patient 3 times daily and the classical homeopaths who originally prescribed it should be aware that Sulphur is a deep acting remedy is not recommended to be taken in this manner for 10 days or more.

All I can do is to suggest that your son takes the Arnica 6c therapy that I have prescribed in the Wet dose which has helped many teenagers and if it does not work, all of you will have the satisfaction of stating that my Joepathy is also similar to the therapy that has been used so far and that it was also a waste of time as it was not classical homeopathy.

It is understood that no other drugs or Homeo remedies will be used with the Arnica 6c and it is important that this therapy is followed precisely as prescribed. The boy must also exercise and drink plenty of liquids daily to help with the cure.

I notice that someone suggested that both the mother and the son should take the same remedy and I would second that proposal as long as the remedy used by both is Arnica 6c in the Wet dose as it is very safe to be used even for life. You may like to know that I have used Arnica 30c in the Wet dose nightly since 1996 and I am convinced that I owe to it my wellness without any ache or pain in my body at age 80+.

After the boy is cured he can take the remainder of the bottle till it is finished but just once daily, as it will help him to keep Acne away. His mother too can take it as I have done perhaps with her husband as it will help to keep them well as it has done for me.

Perhaps the classical homeopaths too can experiment with Arnica preferably 30c in the Wet dose and test my therapy and verify for themselves how the humble Arnica flower can help to not only cure Acne but can help anyone over 40 years of age to achieve a sense of well being that no other remedy can equal.

Treatment of Acne in Teenagers

It is not commonly known that Arnica 6c in the Wet dose can cure Acne in young adults. It is possible that Arnica works by increasing the blood supply in the body especially in the micro capillaries under the skin which in turn clears the debris and thereby prevents the bacteria that are present in the hair follicles to form a lesion which eventually ends as Acne. The patient will notice that the Acne dries up without the usual suppuration in a couple of days.

I have helped hundreds of teenagers to overcome their Acne with Arnica 6c in the Wet dose, taken twice daily. It is also necessary to apply the remedy water on the lesions on the face with the finger tips to accelerate the cure.

Arnica is not listed in the Repertories and Materia Medicas now in use in classical Homeopathy and it is my hope that this remedy will be listed in text books that will be printed in the future. Arnica can be listed as the Ultimate Remedy for Acne. You are invited to type ACNE into the Search Box to read the many cases I have helped prior to 2006 when I was last active on the ABC.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack in a bottle with a dropper arrangement.
If this is not available the Dry dose in pellets may be used but this is not as effective as the remedy in the original Ethanol pack.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops or 5 pellets of the remedy into the bottle and shake it hard to produce bubbles. This is homeopathic succussion and must be done every time before a capful of the bottle which is the dose is taken as directed.

It is understood that no other drugs or remedies will be used if this Arnica therapy is used.

It is patient's decision to go with Sulphur advised by Kadwa, which was well indicated.

Regarding your Arnica 6C approach, I could not recommond anyone unless I have tried this on any patient. I will try this when next acne patient comes to my clinic.

Regarding advise to use both by mother and son was by error and I corrected it a quick reply, but unfortunately did not clearly.

Once again now I am saying that I do not advise medicines to mother, but to keep patience.

I wonder by your statement that similar cases of acne are cured within 3-4 days. I could not believe. There must be a recurrence.

Lastly (to Suferleged) wait for Kadwa instructions what to do further as you started treatment under his/her supervision.

My advice to the patient was prompted by the fact that his mother stated quite clearly that the Sulphur prescribed had initially made the condition much worse and that it had later subsided but did not cure the problem after many days.

I was also very concerned that the patient had been misled into using Sulphur 30 and I copy below my advice in my post above:

The advantage in using my Joepathy with Arnica 6c in the Wet dose is that it is perfectly harmless in use and it has helped many hundreds of Teenagers to get over their Acne. You may like to know that I have taken one dose nightly since 1996 and owe my present state of health at age 80+ to it.

I am glad to note that you too will use it on your patients and I shall await your report of their response in due course. My experience over the years is that the acne dries up in under 48 hours and the patient is cured on the third day. It is important that the patient takes the remedy water dose 2 capfuls daily for a month and later reduced it down to just one capful till the bottle is finished. The remedy must also be applied on the finger tips on the lesions directly as this hastens the cure.

I believe that you are a classically trained homeopath and you would no doubt be aware that anyone can make a mistake in prescribing a remedy or a drug and it is essential that if and when you notice any discrepancy in the use of a remedy like Sulphur 30 which was prescribed by your friend to the patient which in spite of its not being of any use was further recommended to be continued, I felt that it was my duty to alert both the patient and the homeopath concerned to the danger of using Sulphur in the manner prescribed which can lead to other more dangerous consequences.
