Please go ahead with Pulsatilla 200c.

Aconite is indicated when suddenly child catches fever due to playing in cold winds etc. It is generally given as the first remedy, the way you have given Belladonna. i think that Puls should work.

My son still has 101f fever even after Pulsatilla and Acetaminophen(Tynalol) . He is playing and eating little bit ,not cranky or discomfort. What should be given to reduce his given. Thank you so much.

Don't give anything but plenty of fluids. He will be o.k. in a day or two.

I am worried about his high temp, still showing 103f . His right ear is inflamed but left ear is normal . his Flu test was normal in dr,s office . His doctor advised him antibiotic which I have not started yet. I gave one dose of Silicea6x,kalimur6x,ferrumphos 6x 2hrs ago. I don,t know if it is right choice also am sure how frequently can be given. He is not thirsty at all but he ate some food . He likes milk very much but not drinking any now. He likes to be carried all the time and restless.

As long as the child is active fever is beneficial in the sense that it is a sign that the immune system is trying to fight out the problem whatever it may be.

In case the temperature goes high sponge him with normal water a few times till the temperature comes down.

Fevers normally get aborted on their own within 4 days. You need to worry if the duration is more than that.

In that case forums are not the proper way to seek treatment. Take him to a proper doctor. Allopath or homeopath is your choice.

How many doses of pulsatilla 200c you have given? i could see that he has shown improvement after pulsatilla like his burning in eyes has subsided. His symptoms like lack of thirst, likes to be carried also point to pulsatilla.
i understand that only those people seek advice here who don't have access to a homeopath in person. So you can continue to report the case here. May be somebody can suggest something on the basis of reported symptoms.
This is not the first time that the suggestions are given. Please note that suggestions are given in good faith but ultimately the responsibility rests with you.

Each time when you report you should report-
his mental state
his physical symptoms
his thermal preference
his thirst

My son is feeling ok now . No fever, eating and drinking ok but after this episode he is kind of violent . He is throwing things, very angry--bitting ,hitting, very adamant.I don,t know this is related to infection he had. He is in general toward distructive nature but this episode he has became more .

Dear Mom
You may give him a single dose of Nux Vomica 200c and see how it affects over next 10 days. You may also give him kali phos 6x 2 tablets thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours for a week from next day onwards.

Dear Murthy
You intervened and the child recovered. So you should intervene often here and elsewhere. But i am of the humble opinion that the indicated homeo remedy should be given when there is fever. The guardians should not panic.

Dear kadwa,
Thank you so much for your care for my son. I will give him Nux vomica and Kali phos and will update you after 10 days .

Dear Kadwa

I have two grand daughters aged 10 and 5. My son in law too is a homeopathic enthusiast.

We used to give the seemingly indicated homeopathic remedies and the fevers normally subsided within three days.

When my younger grand daughter got fever a week back we deliberately didn't give anything. The fever subsided within four days.

The lesson we learnt:

If the child is active and has no complications whatsoever no treatment is necessary.

One should intervene if the child is drowsy, unresponsive, and have other complications .

I agree that forums may be the choice when no homeopath is nearby, but the chances of the child becoming worse are more when there are complications before the prescriber logs in and advises.

That is why I suggest to see a doctor in case of complications. Not of out of disrespect to prescribers here.

Hope you wil understand.

Dear Murthy

The very purpose of this forum is that the advice seeker should get divergent views about the options available to him. We can only tell what we know to the best of our abilities. i welcome and respect views of those who differ with me.

Thanks and Regards.
