Chalazion in 4 & 2 y/o Page 2 of 10

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I started protocal again.

4 y/o - still is clumsy, falls & trips on feet. Bruises easily. Chalazion that wanted to start, no longer there.

When do I start the phosphorus 200c prescribed earlier? After this treatment is over?

2 y/o - chalazion, irritated. Doing hot compresses w/epson salt. Tummy still warm - does she have parasite? Still wakes up crying at night, wanting to drink and cranky.

2 y/o -
Please give her 2 pellets of ferrum phos 6c thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours on the next day of giving silicea 6c.

4 y/o: -
Please don't start Phos 200 without reporting back her status after one week.

kadwa last decade
I don't see your last reply where you told me not to start the phosphorus for 4 y/0.

2 y/o - I gave her ferrum phos. She still has the chalazion. Is there anything else that will make the chalazion go away?

2spanishgirls last decade
Let us wait for another week and see.

One week later -

4 y/o - had cold, still has cough. Gave her homeopathic cold syrup... still cougs at night around 5 a.m. Do I start Phos 200?

2 y/o - chalazion shrunk some, but now looks like there is white underneath the skin of the chalazion. She also had cold, but has recuperated well, no lasting cough. Still wakes up crying at night. She tested positive for allergies to milk, egg white, soy & peanuts. Have an appt. to see allergist. What else do we do for chalazion?

Can they both suffer from blepharitis. I notice sometimes little scales on eyelid, even after we use steril eyewash cloth daily and organic shampoo.

Can you give the ingredients of the homeopathic combo remedies that you have been giving to girls. It is better if you could tell the combo remedy for each one separately.

kadwa last decade
The cough medicine is by Boiron, 'Children's Chestal Honey'

Active Ingredients:
Antimonium tartaricum - 6c
Bryonia alba - 3c
Coccus Cacti - 3c
drosera rotundifolia - 3c
ipecacuanha - 3c
pulsaatilla - 6c
rumex crispus - 6c
spongia tosta - 3c
sticta pulmonaria - 3c

To be taken 1 teaspoon every 2 hrs.

4 y/o - Would give her the cough medicine before she went to sleep and at 5 a.m. if waking up w/cough

Wakes up now w/loose phlegm

2 y/o - gave before she went to bed. No longer giving to her - no cough, no cold.
Chalazion looks like it has white underneath. Before it was inflammed, no white.

Thank you so much for your prompt attention to my requests.

Added Update:

2 y/o - husband has noticed this week her right hand and foot twitching when putting her down to sleep.

Her 2 y/o molars have yet to come out. She is now 25 months.

i am against using remedies like Puls daily even in 3c potency. This is the only remedy that seems to be indicated for your children. Other remedies don't seem to have any relevance. Please stop giving this combo remedy. You may give them the tissue salts kali mur 6c, ferrum phos 6c and natrum sulph 6c for cold and cough. One pill each in the morning and at night. Please don't give the tissue salts if they don't have cold and cough.
Can you summarize the remedies given to your children like...

2 yr old.
calc carb 30
sil 6
calc carb 200

4 yr old
thuja 30
sil 6
lycopodium 30
phos 200

Please write the remedy names in the above manner and also give the details like the date and no of doses against each remedy.

Thank you again for your patience and help through this. Look forward to your reply.

Hello,

Will there be a reply soon?

Thanks in advance,

'You may give them the tissue salts kali mur 6c, ferrum phos 6c and natrum sulph 6c for cold and cough. One pill each in the morning and at night. Please don't give the tissue salts if they don't have cold and cough.'

Update: my 4 y/o still has a cough, sounds wet. I try to teach her how to spit it out, but I guess she's too young to get it.

Do I give the Kali Mur 6c, ferrum phos 6c and natrum sulph 6c at the same time and for how long?

Awaiting your response,

**Yes, these remedies may be given at the same time. You may give these remedies until there is relief whenever children have episodes of cold and cough.

Update:

4 y/o - started giving her the kali mur, ferrum phos and natrum sulph last night and this morning. She is coughing still. Sounds like its all in her chest.

2 y/o - chalazion bump still there, scab came off and some oozed out, new scab formed.

2spanishgirls last decade
You may continue with the tissue salts. Things will settle down within few days and we will take an appropriate decision.

Thank you for your time.

Update:

4 y/o - We went to her pediatrician because cough was really phlegmy.

He gave her a breathing treatment and tested her for the flu and came back positive. He prescribed tamiflu but will not be giving to her. Please tell me if I just continue to take the tissue salts.

2 y/o - Do I start tissue salts on her since she also tested positive for the flu. She has no symptoms.

2spanishgirls last decade
4 y/o -

Please give her Pulsatilla 30c thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours for 2 days and report back.

2 y/o -
Please give her a single dose of Calc Carb 200.

Update:

4 y/o - flu symptoms are gone. Noticed last night, some twitching once she fell asleep. Still has some separation issues. Much better sleeping alone in her room at night.

2 y/o - Still has a lingering cough. Chalazion is much smaller. Doctor gave her an antibiotic to put on her eye for one week at night - some yellow around scab.

Took both girls to an allergist specialist. They will both get detailed testing for allergies.

4 y/o - nasal cavity swells, causing post nasal drip that ends up in chest. Prescribed Nasonex once a night when symptoms arise. Is there a hoemeopathic remedy instead?

2 y/o - will confirm environmental/food allergies with testing.

Thank you,

Another update:

Weather here has changed, no more humidity, but it causes dryness for both girls.

2 y/o - cough was a dry tight sounding cough at 4 a.m. Did breathing treatment before bed. Anything I can give her for cough?

2spanishgirls last decade
2 y/o - Please give her Pulsatilla 30c thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours for 2 days and see whether it helps her dry cough.

kadwa last decade
Update:

2 y/o: did not get better with pulsatilla. Took to doctor and administered another breathing treatment.
Gave her another antibiotic.
Cough gone, but now has diarrhea because of antibiotics.

Chalazion is small but not entirely gone. Some yellow under skin of chalazion.

What to I give her next.

4 y/o: bumps on skin in her arms returned. Not scared anymore.

2spanishgirls last decade
2 y/o: If diarrhoea is still there you may give her Nux Vomica 30c thrice a day for 2 days.

kadwa last decade
2 y/o still has a small chalazion w/scar under her left eye.

Last molars are coming in... does not want to eat and is very fusy.

2spanishgirls last decade
Please give her Chamomilla 30c twice a day for 2 days and see whether it helps.

kadwa last decade
Thank you for your reply. It helped her some, but she still is fusy with eating. I gather that is due to the molars coming in.

But I've noticed that her stomach is somewhat distended and her breath smells. Like something has not digested in her stomach or acidity smell.

Please let me know what to give her.
